People need to undestand, that a locked device with "attestation" is really controlled by manufacturers.
There are examples:
- Google forcing developer verification - YOU LITERALLY CANNOT STOP GOOGLE FROM DOING IT ON YOUR PHONR
- Apple already exploited the fact iphones have locked bootloaders AND FORCED PEOPLE TO SEND CRDIT CARD DETAILSS OR ID in at least 2 countries: the UK and Australi.
