https://www.valimised.ee/en/internet-voting/documents-about-internet-voting

"Procedure timeline
The summary petition (24 February 2026) formally opened the case. The fuller brief developing the substantive legal arguments was filed on 22 May 2026. An application for interim relief, filed on 26 August 2026 to have the decree suspended as a matter of urgency, was refused on 14 September 2026, without any examination of the decree’s lawfulness (read our answer). The case on the merits is proceeding: the Conseil d’État will rule after a reference to the Court of Justice of the European Union."

I had to take my BTC PayServer offline; perhaps you are aware of the background. It had been running for about five years up to that point.
The replacement is in the works.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Liebe Herr Hennemann,
ich habe mir aufmerksam Ihre Presse-Erklärung durchgelesen.
Vielen Dank.
I’ve been listening to this podcast since day one.
Today is September 28, 2026; only today did I feel like listening to this episode from August 3, 2026.
Am I ready to withdraw my trust in these two podcasters—to the point where I no longer want to hear from them?
I’ve realized the answer is "no."
I don’t blame them; I grant them a pardon.
They are both too important to me and to the space to simply cut them off.
My take: learn the lessons and pick up the baton. You aren’t done yet.

"Hussain v Fix is different because it comes from the ordinary machinery of business: expenses, reimbursement and an alleged agreement to pay in bitcoin.
As bitcoin becomes more involved in private contracts, treasury strategies, cross border settlement and business arrangements, disputes will not always arrive in court as dramatic stories about hacks or scams. They may arrive as commercial claims about repayment, valuation and the legal consequences of not keeping an agreement."

"не усвоили урок"
I didn’t come to nostr hoping to find amazing people, cheerleaders, or sources of great ideas.
I came because nostr's technical foundations convinced me. I did, however, hope that in the long run, those technical foundations would attract interesting people and draw them away from other platforms.
To nostr applies as well: stay humble and stick to your convictions.
there is no second best.

- also einseitig!
und: "it is property right".
Sehr gut.
Wir brauchen mehr davon.

brilliant talk !
"Primary action does not require permission or an existing audience. It starts because the person cannot not do it. The output may be useless to anyone else. It may fail commercially. It may never be understood. None of that changes the fact that it originated from inside rather than from outside."
>>
"Hierarchies reward people who execute someone else’s plan well. Markets reward people who serve existing demand. Social media rewards people who amplify the current mood."
>>
"That misalignment is the cost of the output."
Bravo !
In all modesty; but I feel vindicated.
Death is the indispensable prerequisite for (new) life.
"Anonymous cash for Bitcoin Lightning at nearly all Polish ATMs.
And that’s not all—you can pay with Bitcoin Lightning literally everywhere in Poland!
No KYC, no registration, via the Nostr provider.
I love it when I come across new technology that gives (European) bureaucrats the middle finger, especially in a situation where they want to spy on and regulate you across the board.
Most recently, I was this excited about a non-KYC project for exchanging stablecoins for fiat via https://www.peer.xyz/, which bypasses the dystopian centralized exchanges that have to do massive reporting due to EU regulations like DAC-8 and MiCA.
In the case of BITBLIK, just like with peer.xyz, you’re doing decentralized P2P trading, so I assume no regulation applies to you (it doesn’t go through any intermediary).
Today I came across a great Polish app called BITBLIK https://bitblik.app/, which connects the widely available BLIK system in Poland with Bitcoin Lightning.
With Bitcoin Lightning, you can pay anonymously anywhere in Poland, withdraw cash anonymously from an ATM (which I just did!), or make online payments on Polish websites.
BLIK is widely accepted (it’s supported by a network of over 13,000 ATMs across Poland and hundreds of thousands of merchants; according to AI, there are 87,000 of them).
Install the https://bitblik.app/ app, launch it—no registration required, no KYC—enter an offer for how much you want to pay in PLN or how much you want to withdraw from an ATM.
You’ll make a Bitcoin Lightning payment, which will be locked.
Wait a minute or two until someone accepts your offer (the other party who has BLIK and wants Bitcoin Lightning).
As soon as they do, a BLIK code will appear.
It’s valid for about two minutes, so enter it at an ATM or at a terminal in a store or restaurant.
After a successful payment, you confirm that you used the BLIK code, and the Lightning payment is credited to the recipient.
Limits for BLIK payments vary by Polish ATM. ING Bank Śląski has the highest limit: 10,000 PLN per day (2,356 EUR), while mBank has a limit of 5,000 PLN per day (1,178 EUR). PKO BP allows BLIK transactions up to 1,500 PLN, but you can make up to 20,000 PLN (4,722 EUR) worth of transactions per day.
And of course, those limits apply to the merchant. When various merchants accept your Lightning payments, you effectively have no limits—you’re only limited by the counterparty’s liquidity.
BLIK is 100% open-source, so it can’t be banned!
You can fork it and use it within your own closed community. "

Jack, thx for your time and effort.
as to the pod:
"voluntarily...
...with a gun held to my head..."
That got me wondering: are wages negotiated the same way we shop on Amazon?
In the working world, where does voluntariness end and coercion begin?
are the mechanics different there?
I look forward to your answer.

Even to AI, this looks like a "quantum leap."
To be completely satisfied, however, a few things still remain— again AI:
the issues surrounding rollbacks and upgrades.
That makes perfect sense to me ...
Do you have any ideas for that yet?
" So one solution that came up to that was, let's introduce key epochs. A very simple solution is that we have one set of private keys for the mint that is valid for one year, let's say, and then after one year, we make a cut, and then we rotate the keys to a new set of private keys. And then we slowly rotate all the ecashu from the old epoch to the new epoch. And then once all the ecashu is redeemed from the old epoch, we can just prune it from the database and keep going on with the new key epoch basically. So for scalability reasons we've come up with this rotation of keys initially. Now it turns out that you can use this same mechanism to build a proof of liability system and the way it could work is that the Mint now publishes these two lists that it has. So there is a list of all the blind signatures it gave out and then there is a list of all the secrets that it redeemed. These are two different lists and usually they are kept inside the Mint. No one is interested in them. But now in this new scheme, the Mint could publish these reports, let's say once a month. It would publish a whole list of money I gave out to everyone and the whole list of money I redeemed by everyone. And you could tally it all up. And the end result would be how much money is in all the wallets out there. So if you have all the issued money minus all the redeemed money, that is the open balance of this mint basically. So you would publicly open these, publish these lists and now here comes the kicker, a user that has a wallet now could basically, once these lists, these reports are published, could go back and check whether the money that I ever owned is included in this list or not. There was a time when you considered this as a solution. I liked it. (What led you to abandon it again?)
