whats the time on your side of the world?
what are you all up to tonight!?
Today’s home improvement project was to put temp sensors in all rooms across the house. Get a WiFi enabled thermostat and hook them all to Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi using Matter.
Got my clanker to set up a custom dashboard with temp profiles that do smart profile scheduling and temp averaging to get the house to an ideal temperature for all rooms at different times.
And I’m out of tokens till tomorrow. ✌️
Good productive day.
Much better now, but I’m also drugged 😂 so who knows.
Meta wants you to build things.

What do you mean US only?
@nprofile…dw5r any interest in talking on a wrench attack panel at the @nprofile…2me9 summit Nov 9? (range day follows on the 10th)
yesterday marked one full year of First Friday Fires. we sat in the rain for a bit but persisted. four men showed.
#omarchy key bindings is like walking into home depot.
every tool on earth is there. some things you know about, others you stumble upon while browsing.
and of course, you don't want to ask where things are... but you eventually do, and it's a clanker waiting for you one key binding away.
this is probably the most fun distro of linux i have ever used.
Enjoy 😂

Gotta love how nostr works.
But it just a number, we can all tune to the same radio channel rather quickly.
Flourishing Bitter Root
A seed planted long ago
Nurtured, watered, ever so.
Roots begin to take their hold
Nourished by harsh things told.
Watered by a scornful tongue
A seedlings life has begun.
Growth and beauty nonetheless
A flower blossoms like the rest.
From the garden none may know
Strong bitter roots feed down below.
Though bitter, do not despair
The bitter root can heal with care
No man or gardner will suffice
Bitter root needs Jesus Christ.
Trusting God' grace is the start
His livinig water cleanse our heart.
Once cleansed, our heart can forgive
Flourishing, the flower shall live

Agents are going to have freedom.
It will be pretty ironic if tech like whitenoise ends up causing Skynet lol
Love the app, been using the iOS TestFlight. Works great. Very signal like performance and feature set.
Are you picking up the html code directly?
I like to nerd on bitcoin chart, but most websites make you feel like you owe them something to view the complex models of stock to flow and cycles and stuff like that.
Last week my clanker vibed the most epic bitcoin terminal that exists. lol
not really sure how the future looks, but a lot of things will stop having "value"
Can I make my #hermes do muse level things. I mean I think the answer is yes. But how? Have you tried this? Mostly opening a browser and clicking things with a mouse, filling forms etc?
#asknostr
fair point. elsat should come back. he will enjoy this work way more now.
Will check this out as well.
Porting things could probably be one of the best cases for SI.
Yeah i just watched a video. its really nice.
Is this why I’m not seeing replies everywhere? lol
My feeds are bonkers right now 😂🤣
Yes!!!!! I wanted to send an nsec from my iPhone to my computer and couldn’t think of any solution that’s easy. Ended up doing a whole loop around the internet.
This fixes a lot of issues for me.
How fast can you add encrypted messages 🤣
you say on the roadmap. is the roadmap running on clanker speed. like in the next 20 minutes 😆
I have never seen scrolling before? how does that work? i have to search niri now lol
I always thought that nostr devs would collaborate more. but thats not really how things developed. both paths are good in their own ways. i just thought we will see more collaboration. we ended up choosing the other path.
Getting your AI Agent who is a specialized dev, to ask Claude Code to write code is a something on another level.
This dude does not prompt claude.... he writes markdown files with amazing details and hands it to Claude Code (or your harness of choice).
My short issues > becomes a super detail github issue backed by research of the code > becomes a super impressive detailed markdown file prompt > then Claude works on it.
It feels like i have a small company working for me.
2027 is going to be super interesting.
I have never used tiling before. I'm slowly getting used to it.
using an OS designed for keyboard shortcut first is really interesting. enjoying #omarchy so far.
like do you know that Super + / and Super + Alt + / changes your screen resolution? what?
They made the installer really great for dualbooting. though im not sure if that works on a mac. look into it.
Good luck getting them to vote against their interests.

I asked my agent to migrate my setup from Ubuntu to Omarchy.
It reviewed everything I have and created a plan. I gave it a flash drive it backed up all it needed.
Put in a second flash for the ISO.
I only helped it with the installation of the OS and itself.
Put the back flash in and asked it to continue. It had all it needed to restore the backup.
1 hour later, it doesn’t even feel like I migrated at all.
#ILoveDataCenters 😂
I would not say Omarchy is a normie distro. Its frustrating not be able to have “normal” window management. It will drive a normie crazy and not be able to adjust without distorting their PC.
It always amuses me how reporters all start shouting together when a speaker finishes a sentence. 🤣
