Crazy week for @npub1nyv…9nc9, more than 8000 visitors landed on the website in the last 4 days after searching for "Hyves".
Hunderds of people are subscribed to the mailing now, so I guess I have to send them a mail soon. Doing marketing, which is something I don't every day.

We officially have permission to mount some public infrastructure nodes throughout the parks in our City!!!
I've even reached out to the programs manager to see if I can host a LoRa Mesh Radio class directly through the Parks Department next Spring.
And I've found the local CERT program folks, so my goal is to onboard them as well because for their purposes LoRa is even better than HAM.

The initial set of glyphs for glyphbyte were invented by me with no formal research and no data on how easy they would be to draw and recognize. It was just my best effort and guess.
Based on some insight from my good friend @nprofile…e307 I am researching better glyphs that are easier to draw and also optimized for detection.
So if you're excited about glyphbyte, I just wanted to let you know that version 2 is coming and both sets of glyphs will remain supported.
I had the idea for glyphbyte literally 10 years ago and Claude built it for me in one day. 🤯
Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm excited to attach pieces of the internet to random objects with crayons. 🖍️
If you want to be able to find your events via glyph byte, make sure you're using a relay that supports partial prefix searches like wss://wheat.oslim.dev
Also, this has been nearly all on @nprofile…7l0j's shoulders. She's done so much work this past summer, I don't think I can even start to summarize the massive leaps forward she has made to the whole of nostr.
I think everyone owes her some recognition at the very least.

I'm not sure why I keep getting special treatment from the cops but they keep giving me warnings instead of tickets. Not complaining, but it's kinda weird at this point. Maybe now that I'm old they are showing respect to their elders
This is about 2 years of zap history on nostr, that was published to relays. Clearely there are many zaps that do not send events or only to the private relays. So consider this as the minimum.
