Modern leaders inherited the most sophisticated persuasion machinery in human history.

Algorithms can rank the narrative.
Institutions can repeat it.
Platforms can amplify it.
Telemetry can measure reaction.
AI can generate variations faster than humans can answer them.
The temptation is obvious:
If the population resists, increase the signal.
More messaging.
More emotional framing.
More warnings.
More repetition.
More appeals to fear, morality, identity and urgency.
But human psychology has a failure mode that dashboards struggle to measure.
Eventually persuasion saturation stops producing belief.
It starts producing immunity.
People stop arguing with the message.
They stop trusting the messenger.
Then they stop outsourcing reality to the institutions delivering it.
That is the response modern leadership may be underestimating.
Not necessarily revolution in the streets.
Something quieter can happen first:
epistemic secession.
People build their own information networks.
Their own communities of trust.
Their own money.
Their own media.
Their own software.
Their own methods of verification.
And suddenly the most sophisticated propaganda infrastructure ever constructed discovers an ancient political limitation:
You can dominate attention without commanding belief.
You can manufacture visibility without manufacturing legitimacy.
You can optimise a message until every screen displays it—
and still lose the human being behind the screen.
The dangerous moment for any political order is not when everyone is shouting at it.
It is when enormous numbers of people quietly conclude:
“Your reality is no longer authoritative to me.”
Software dramatically increased the power of persuasion.
It may also be accelerating the population's adaptation to it.
The arms race was never just state versus citizen.
It was always:
propaganda versus human pattern recognition.

It learned to route it.
The old pattern of empire was brutally effective:
Show the wound.
Name the enemy.
Collapse individuals into a tribe.
Repeat the horror.
Synchronise the outrage.
Make restraint look like betrayal.
Rebrand vengeance as protection.
Then turn the suffering produced in retaliation back into statistics.
The machinery is ancient.
What changed is the software.
Propaganda once required newspapers, pulpits, posters and broadcast towers.
Now the stack has recommendation engines, behavioural telemetry, engagement optimisation, bots, synthetic media, sentiment analysis, micro-targeting and real-time feedback.
The system no longer has to broadcast one message to an entire population.
It can discover which image makes you afraid, which story makes you furious, which identity makes you choose a side—and keep serving the stimulus that holds you there.
That is the technological upgrade.
Not manufacturing human empathy.
Instrumenting it.
Not inventing the vengeance response.
Finding its API.
Not commanding millions of people to consent.
Building an information environment in which millions can experience the same conclusion as though they independently arrived there.
Empire used to manufacture consent.
Software makes consent measurable, testable, optimisable and deployable at machine scale.
The battlefield did not disappear into cyberspace.
The human nervous system became part of the infrastructure.

Brazil should change into a Spanish speaking country or even better and English speaking country. It makes more sense when every country is either English or Spanish on this side of the world. Frankly, Their economy and investment would benefit in English rather than Spanish.
