What are we, just livestock?
That seems like a good place to start, but I always encourage users to experiment with different clients and wallets. I built Sidecar around Jumble as the default client, because it’s been around for two years, works very reliably, and has inspired and encouraged many forks, including one that I maintain. Nostrich looks promising, and I’ve been trying it out a bit. Will watch as it develops.
Regarding wallets, the two easiest ways to start with Sidecar are with Rizful and Yakihonne, so you can pick whichever one suits your needs. The Rizful activation code is baked into the interface, so once you have an account set up with them (which requires an email address), you can plug it into Sidecar and away you go. With Yakihonne, there’s no email step, just activate their Alby Jim wallet and add the NWC string to your profile. The main caveat there is that if you don’t backup your string you could lose access to your wallet with no other recovery method, which is why Sidecar also encourages you to use the built-in backup tool.
As with any credentials on Nostr and Bitcoin/Lightning, make more than one backup and keep it safe!

I’ve come to terms with privacy for zaps not really being an issue, since nearly all zaps are public anyway. I would still rather use a more privacy preserving wallet for p2p purchases.

Retraction of a reaction is the same principle as deleting a post. It’s unreliable at best because relays have to honor them. You’re just stacking a new event on top of an old one saying, “I want the last event to be ignored.”

Ifeel as he just figured out one of the big root causes of expensive #housing. Not simply in the #US. This is also true for #Switzerland.
That the construction of new housing is hugely downregulated. So more and more people bit on a stagnant amount of squaremeters to live in.
And with rules on maximum hight and conservativ rules on how buildings need to fit in, the total amount of newly built room to live is simply far below that of a free market.
But we can fix this. Depending on how many we can convince to get rid of those conservativ rules. When we allow building high houses, this problem is fixable.
