I don’t think the tech elite care about the bilderbergers tbh. If anything, they are in conflict with each other.

“That’s not fair”….
Fair is a fairy tale adults tell themselves when they don't want to compete. Nothing is fair. Fair isn't coming.
I’m not convinced that taking a beating on taxes while quietly building real families and churches is "cowardice." It looks a lot more like surviving a siege. Real strength isn't throwing tantrums online about tax resistance while paying your taxes anyway.
You don't need fancy rhetoric to awaken a man. You just need the courage to stop participating in the shared lie that the current system is working. Once the denial is stripped away, conviction happens naturally.
Jesus didn't tell you to render Caesar what belongs to God.
Your conscience, your moral signature, and your covenantal allegiance belong strictly to Christ, not Caesar. Treating a vote as a mere neutral button press for "harm reduction" ignores the fundamental nature of covenantal responsibility. You aren't just adjusting a policy slider, you are legally endorsing a magistrate to bear the sword in God's world.
If a candidate legislates child sacrifice, debases the currency, and wars against God’s law, putting your name on his ticket to protect a specific industry, even Bitcoin or free software, is simply purchasing temporary comfort at the expense of moral principle. It’s prioritizing local convenience over covenantal righteousness.
The early Christians didn't refuse incense to Caesar because they lacked pragmatic calculations, they refused because worship and allegiance cannot be compartmentalized to secure economic favor.
Vote defensively if your conscience permits, but don't confuse buying time for your code with advancing the Kingdom of God.
The amount of stuff people are able to find with OSINT is freaky af!! Went down the rabbit hole partially and it’s terrifying.
Yep. That’s what caused me to go down the rabbit hole
Shifting payroll from civil servants to private contractors, military apparatus, or intelligence budgets while total spending rises isn't "shrinking government." It’s restructuring the managerial class.
If the state spends more money, wields more power, controls more capital, and inflates the currency faster than before, firing bureaucrats isn't dismantling the leviathan, it's streamlining it. A leaner corporate state with a bigger budget isn't smaller authority; it's just more concentrated leverage.
Pruning a branch while feeding the root isn't shrinking the tree.
Let’s play a game.
Name a single conservative administration in the last seventy years that actually shrank the federal government.
Name one that abolished a major federal agency, balanced the budget, repealed the income tax, or shut down the fiat money printer. Name one that stopped the expansion of the surveillance state, brought the troops home for good, or dismantled the administrative apparatus that regulates your family, your business, and your church.
You can't. Because the game is rigged, and the board only moves in one direction.
The Left’s job in the uniparty is to push the throttle forward, expanding state power and codifying open rebellion against God’s order. The Right’s job is to act as the brake pad, slowing the pace just enough to give you the illusion of defense, while quietly ratifying every single expansion once they take office.
The Left builds the leviathan. The Right manages it and tells you to be grateful it’s not worse.
That’s why the Right is just as dangerous. It functions as a containment vessel for Christian resistance. It takes men who ought to be building parallel institutions, governing their homes, and holding local magistrates accountable, and convinces them to spend their energy, money, and moral authority begging a manager to run the prison slightly better.
When both options expand the same machine, refusing to play isn't quitting. It’s realizing the game was designed to make you lose. This is my humble opinion and you’re free to disagree.
For generations, the “system” has offered options who despise the law of God, legislate injustice, and treat human life as disposable.
Then we’re told our civic duty as Christians is to step up and choose the lesser of two evils.
The early Reformed resistance tradition blew that logic apart centuries ago. A magistrate isn't a legitimate authority merely because he holds power, wins an election, or wears a party badge. His authority is strictly conditional and bound to God’s law. When both choices operate in open rebellion against Heaven, slapping your signature on the "lesser tyrant" isn't wisdom, it's covenantal compromise.
Christ doesn't ask us to pick which brand of humanism we want to manage. He commands rulers to kiss the Son, and He commands household heads to disciple the nations. That duty doesn't hinge on which candidate holds office.
Vote or don't, but let’s stop acting like picking between two covenant breakers is a holy mandate. Refusing to validate an illegitimate choice isn't sitting on the sidelines, it's refusing to perform a liturgy of consent for a system at war with God.
Build your house. Catechize your children. Stand with local magistrates who actually honor righteousness. And leave the fate of decaying empires to the King who outlasts them all.

Did you know? ants lets you group alternatives with OR, then combine them with author, date, or media filters. Try `(bitcoin OR (nostr AND lightning)) since:2w`:

If voting actually acted as a brake pedal, your 15minute defense argument would make sense. But when both parties continuously expand the state, inflate the money, and fund the same leviathan, you aren't buying time at all. You’re funding the theater that manages the decline.
Real low time preference warfare isn't relying on a ballot box managed by the regime to buy you time. It's building parallel institutions so strong that it doesn't matter which team is holding the gavel.
I can't anymore.

By not voting, I am voting. My vote is that neither party has any legitimate claim on my consent. Legitimacy flows up from the governed, and I am withholding mine.
When both doors open into the same room, declining to walk through either one is the clearest signal I have.

If voting does more than nothing but not much more, we agree on its size and only disagree on what to do with it. A vote is the one move the system counts as consent no matter what you meant by it. Turnout gets read as legitimacy, and a reluctant vote for the lesser option is filed the same as an enthusiastic one.
We've been running the lesser evil trade for decades and the direction of travel never changed, so the ballot looks like where outcomes get ratified and rarely where they get decided. If the board is as big as you say, put the effort where it compounds and let the booth be the one place I refuse to sign. Name one thing your vote moved that outlasted the next election.
I KEPT ALL THE PROMISES.
IN FACT I KEPT MORE PROMISES THAT I'VE MADE.

What was Iran actually going to do to America again?
Oh ya, that’s right…No Iranian missile could reach our cities. No army was massing at our borders. No one showed us a bomb. What we had was a 47 year grudge, a nuclear program that's been "weeks away" in Israeli warnings since the 1990s, and an ally with its own agenda.
Israel's goal is no secret, break its biggest regional rival. That's a legitimate Israeli objective. It was never an American one.
When another nation's priorities become your war, you stop being an ally and start being a subcontractor. Our troops take the incoming fire. Our families pay for the oil spike. Our bases become targets. Our economy tanks.
Sweet. Yeah, get out and vote. lol.
Good morning, Nostr.
Every avatar on this feed is a closed door. Behind it, someone is worried about a thing they haven't told anyone, or hoping for something they're afraid to say publicly. We scroll past each other all day and never see any of it.
Most of us are doing better than we look and worse than we let on, and a little warmth can travel a long way. A kind word, a good idea, a shared laugh, or just the sense that someone is glad you're here can change the shape of a morning.
A network is only as good as the kindness moving through it. So let's be the reason someone's day feels lighter.
Go make one person's day a little better.

My biggest vibe enemy is “good enough”. It’s tempting to let it be, but I have to remind myself that clanker doesn’t have feelings and doesn’t get tired so I can keep pushing it past good enough to perfect.
