Did you sign in with a remote signer or browser signer? You follow over 1K people so it will only allow you to make changes to your follow count if you’re signing in with a NIP-07 signer. Large follow counts don’t work at all with remote signers because of the NIP-44 hardcoded data size cap.

These people are just plain wrong, and clearly have no idea how much influence African populations had over the shape of the nation. American white nationalists love to gloss over that fact, as if the human beings their ancestors enslaved for hundreds of years were nothing more than machines or animals, incapable of independent thought and ingenuity. You wouldn’t even have Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey if not for Nathan “Nearest” Green, a slave who possessed the knowledge of charcoal filtering passed down through his West African heritage. Of course, it took close to 150 years for the company to acknowledge this fact.
You know what else was invented by Americans of African descent? Blues and rock and roll. I like my America with whiskey and rock, thank you. 🥃🎸
As I understand it, Nosskey only lets someone generate a new nsec, but never encrypt an existing one, which means a full key rotation and abandonment of identity for anyone except a first time user.

It is as effective a way as any to obtain user feedback about adding something that is, whether you like it or not, still fairly contentious here.
There is a precedent for adding it, and I am not bound by the results of the poll, but it is informative and useful to me to get a real-time sentiment check.
I don’t need an education. I held some Monero before most of you guys ever heard about it. If it was something I cared about, I would still have that stack. It isn’t. That said, I consider it one of the least annoying altcoins, and if enough people want to use it, I’ll add it to my app.
It really doesn’t solve any problems for me, and mostly introduces more headaches. I can’t verify its supply, so I can’t be sure it isn’t subject to an inflation bug. Syncing the chain on a mobile wallet is an annoying UX. My unit of account is already bitcoin, and I don’t like dealing with shady swap services. Plus, I don’t think all transactions need to be on-chain, which is why I still prefer Lightning.
Maybe, but it wouldn’t be as funny.
Either way, it’s still a yes or no vote.
It’s not me, I’ll go along with whatever the crowd wants on this one. Fairly low-lift feature, TBH. If it’s important to you, share this poll and encourage more people to vote!

Agreed. Kudos to @nprofile…a8wx for getting that working. I have not yet built passkeys into Sidecar. I’m still exploring it, but not as a top priority yet.
