Agreed. They’re really good at making cheap plastic feel premium. I do prefer when they use metal. Also agree with the overly complicated. Especially their groove boxes. The form factor is too small. That doesn’t help the playability at all
Yeah. I think that Teenage Engineering does some of the best design work today.
I find some of their products overly complicated to run, but look-wise, they have the ability to use very cheap materials (plastics) and make the device feel "rich".
