I may fork Ditto Relay since it doesn't have policies, yet it's one of the most advanced relays. I'll add support for that so I can do WoT, pay, etc.

I like PoW. I use it on Amethyst. But for it to be viable in mass like a WoT relay, you'd need all clients to support generation of PoW notes. A WoT relay solves spam without PoW. Essentially the work is being done on the relay to calculate the relationship.

This relay isn't vibe coded. Fiatjaf and Utxo made this before AI was good.
Not sure. What's the goal of the WoT relay? To give users a low spam experience. Maybe we don't even need to calculate a WoT now because we have nspam?
My Haven relay costs me zero. I run it at home. I run other relays that are essentially zero since they're on other boxes that have other purposes. WoT is expensive because it calculates WoT and gets slammed sometimes. It won't run on cheaper systems. The curse of having a popular relay.
This relay is based off of your bad code. Make it use less CPU.
Why would I give you control of my Haven relay?
That would be interesting and I do run a nosflare sendit relay.
Demand is down, but this feature needs to exist either way. I built this feature because it didn't exist. It now does.
People pay for relays all of the time. We know this and have 4 years of data showing this. We don't know if they pay for WoT spam free relays though. We haven't tried that yet. It's time to try new things. Can't stay stagnant.
Some relays a more expensive. Some relays are cheaper. Some relays are $500 a month. Some are $5 a month.

Hey all! I've been running Nostr Elites WoT relay now for two years. It costs me $50 a month, every month. I'm was going to shut it down, but I figured that I perhaps could try another route, and focus on sustainability instead.
If you use the Nostr Elites relay and you want to keep it around, every month the members of the WoT can keep it alive by paying or it. The relay now has a monthly Zap goal.

SERIOUS: who would play WoW: Forever with me? i will only play Horde. i have never played Alliance. i would play as a filthy casual, if we could get a nostr guild going in game.
im not saying that i will 100% do this, i don't even know if my computer would be able to handle it, but i will try to play if enough of us Nostriches want to make it happen. i have no old gaming friends left. it's you all or nothing :)

As open models continue to improve, eventually all companies will run their own local models and not give "Big AI" all the delicious data that they need to fuel their model's growth.
Eventually, companies will stop buying tokens. Closed source business models will collapse.
It's about money and control. Always.
