Last Notes
My husband spent the last few years planting a forest of 6,000 trees (oak, maple, chestnut, fir, cherry and larch) for our descendants.
One day, long after our names have been forgotten, someone carrying our blood will stand beneath these trees, sheltered by the love of a man they never knew.
“To plant a tree is to believe in tomorrow.”

Today we welcomed our second child into this world at block height 974,323. What an exciting day.

I take care of this little cactus (IYKYK). In Native American traditions the pink bloom symbolises spiritual growth, gratitude, and enlightenment. It blooms sporadically, this is the first time it’s given me a double bloom. 🌸🌸
