I had some weird dreams while I was sick this week. In one of them, I was grilling a steak at home and somehow ended up in the back seat of someone’s car taking me on a completely unnecessary trip on the highway, and all I could think about was how the steak was going to be burned to a crisp when I got back.

If you have sats to spend, spend them with a merchant who understands their worth. Don’t obsess over how many sats you’re spending, either. If you mentally convert back to fiat, you’ll always second-guess yourself. This is how you go from a store of value to a medium of exchange to a unit of account. Slowly, over time.
Zapstore signs with their indexer key all apps that are not self signed by the developer.
So you trust zapstore with TOFU in this case. So if you love an app thats not yet self signed on zapstore, go bother the devs to do it, its trivial, literally half a prompt.
Also the first install is validated by the devs on nsec, so I guess you trust zapstore to not have bugs, but the idea of the code is that it validates the actual devs signature which you can compare to your social follows.
