What Azzamo Blossom is, in one note:
Blossom is a simple way to host the images and files you attach to your Nostr posts. Your client uploads the file to a Blossom server or even multiple, and the note just links to it. Any client that speaks Blossom will do, which means you pick where your media lives and you can move it later.
Azzamo Blossom is our server at azzamo.media. What makes it different is delivery, not storage: files are served from close to wherever your followers are, so your images show up fast whether they're in Europe, the Americas or Asia.
How to use it
Open your Nostr client, find the media or Blossom server setting, and add http://blossom.azzamo.media . Any client with Blossom support works. From then on your uploads go there.
Paid with a Lightning invoice or a Cashu token. Nothing renews behind your back.
Already on Azzamo Premium? You get 10 GB of Blossom storage included while your premium time is active.
Your files aren't locked in. You can mirror media to and from other Blossom servers whenever you want.

That‘s true, and you can see it in most of their advertising, which seems to mostly targeted to young black people in urban areas. This is part of a larger ad plastered across an entire building in central Harlem, and it features a headline about how convenient it is to pay for everything in small installments.
I looked on their website, and this is their pitch to businesses to add the feature:
• Acquire new-to-file millennial and Gen Z customers
• Attract customers who shop more often and spend more
• Improve conversion and increase average order value
So it really is just about getting a new generation of economically struggling consumers hooked on the idea of financing everyday purchases, and making debt slavery cool, normal, and fun.

The payment targets proposal was soundly defeated by a vote, but that doesn’t mean I’m done adding payment methods to @npub1car…f0dd.
CLINK offers, a new Nostr-native payment method is coming in the next release. If you have a “noffer” string from your wallet (ShockWallet, Zeus, etc.) you can add it to your bio.
An offer button will appear in profile pages from Sidecar’s search bar, and you can pay them directly from your onboard NWC wallet, or via QR code.

We only show these requests when a relay in your list is broken. If you have broken relays in your list then that slows down every client of every user who's viewing your posts. That's why a radical solution is adequate. We definitely have to work on these checks and fixes, they can be further improved.
