Do you have any manufacturing companies in the portfolio? I've worked for the past 15 years for a machine shop. The manufacturing sector is so undervalued and unappreciated. Fiat has decimated it. The ability to operate on a bitcoin standard in manufacturing would bring so much value back to the industry.

Jack recorded a podcast with Natalie in Prauge before he went on stage and called out some prominent individuals in the BTC space for either being intentional or ignorant in what is going on at the base layer. Today he was informed that this podcast would not air, due to it not being a good fit for Natalie's audience.
Let the podcast air and let the audience decide if they want to listen or not. It does raise the question on whether or not this is intentional to protect names in bitcoin or is it ignorance to what the audience is able to decide for themselves?

I've been thinking greatly about a way to break away from measuring Bitcoin in dollars. It is clear to me that every time we associate bitcoin to dollars, our brains get pulled back into the broken fiat mindset. It is tough to not get excited or emotional about number go up or number go down when looking at the dollar measurement. The greatest and most scarce asset any individual has is Time. We need to start using time as the main metric we value bitcoin in.
After doing some quick calculations my time is worth 12,500 - 15,500sats per hour. I am awake.This number is based solely on the math of bitcoin, 21 million, 10min blocks in correlation to my schedule. That may seem like avery low value of my time, but when you take into consideration that if all 21 million bitcoin divided by the global population each individual would be worth 262,500 sats for their lifetime!
I am going to attempt to build an app calculator for people to play with.

It is going to come down to timing. Much like "when the student is ready the teacher appears". This is a powerful tool, a new tool. I don't think any of us really know what it will become. But at the end of the day we all know this tool is needed. As a result of that, when the masses are ready the tool will be available. Like any good entrepreneur we are ahead of the need. We in the meantime need to lower our time preference and stay community minded.

IMO Nostr works too well. I am not a content creator so I don't use it in that manner. I am a casual observer and I post occasionally. I come to Nostr to see what is happening in bitcoin and the world. Sometimes I engage, but usually I just observe and then I put it down. There is no algorithm trying to suck my time and numb my mind. I love it! I can count on both hands the times I have spent on other platforms since coming here. Since coming here I have sent zaps or sats to people in Mexico, Venezuela, and supported an art studio. I would never get that experience on X or Facebook! It's not the platform that isn't attracting more users, it's low dopamine, brain dead people that are stuck in and on other platforms. They don't even realize they are stuck.

In the fiat world I whore my time out selling cnc machining services. At the current moment I am still a slave to this. It dawned on me that there may be a need here among the Nostr and Bitcoin community for custom machined components. Miner exhaust adaptors, shrouds, cooling manifolds, immersion tanks, plates, etc...
If anyone has a need for 1 off custom machining let me know. If needed I can help with engineering support/design.

Good info. I don't look at the price as noise. I hope it stays here at 80 for the rest of the year. That means I get more bitcoin for less fake money. I look at noise as all the news of why bitcoin is not the greatest money ever. Why it's going to fail, quantum and AI will hack it, etc.. Anything that is meant to distract me from stacking more. Price doesn't do that for me. I look forward to the day that I can go to my local farmers market and buy fruit and vegetables in bitcoin. Just like the villages and markets in Africa.

The coolest thing I have experienced lately is listening to podcasts with @nprofile…tkhj and then watching your videos on YouTube. Everything Jeff talks about in regards to Bitcoin and it's future is demonstrated live and in the flesh in your videos! The combo really cancels out the noise.

The more I think about it the more I conclude that we will have to navigate Simon's world view in order to get to the world of 8 billion in service to 8 billion. The Fed announcement of holding rates is absolutely wonderful! If they announced a cut, Bitcoin would have shot up. I am not a fan of number go up! I want to continue to exchange my shitty fiat paper for as much BTC as possible every day for as long as possible. The big print and fiat collapse is going to happen no doubt. When it does, I will not sell. I will instead exchange value for value in the only global free market humanity has ever known.

Just signed up! Watched the first lesson. One thing I would note here on Nostr, get a Proton email prior to signing up. The biggest take away I got from lesson 1, is that I use Gmail way too much. Starting a journey of sovereignty requires privacy from the very beginning. In this case creating an account on Kool-aid and joining the group.

@nprofile…e5yz one more thought came to me from this thread. This is why I enjoy Nostr so much. There is a feeling of community that is rooted in service to one another. I personally hate social media, simply for the fact that I don't want my overwhelming desire for recognition to dominate my life. I don't get that as much here as I have on other platforms. It still pops up, but I can recognize it and discard it faster on Nostr. Have a wonderful day!

That is always difficult. It requires a great deal of reflection and self inventory. Generally I personally boil it down to the questions of "Am I doing this solely for my own personal benefit? Or, am I doing this for the benefit of others?" If I am truly honest about these questions, most of the time even when I do for others, the need for recognition still crops up. I can't seem to entirely shake that.
In regards to service of the Divine, I try and never say "no", to reasonable requests. Someone needs my help, I show up. Service to others is the ultimate service to God.
At the end of the day, as humans, we just want to feel useful to the people around us.

Saying you believe in God and actually believing in God are not the same. Saying you have faith and actually having faith are not the same. Believing in God is a 24/7 demonstration of selflessness and love. There is no room for ego in believing in God.
Having faith, is tiring. It is so much work. "Faith without works is dead." Faith is holding one's self to the highest standard of action, solely for the benefit of God. Not for the benefit of self. Self may reap rewards if faith is acted upon properly, but that is not the goal of having faith. The goal is to always be in service of the Divine regardless of the outcome.

Once you pay those bills with your paycheck, you never have access to that money again. A line of credit is a cash flow tool. This tool won't work if you spend more than you earn. You will end up upside down and probably lose your bitcoin. If you live within your means, this tool is potentially very powerful and allows you to accumulate wealth faster while not being strapped for liquidity. Obviously the safest and most conservative way would be to get paid, pay your bills, buy bitcoin with what's left, and self-custody said bitcoin. However then you are potentially living paycheck to paycheck and not maximizing your DCA . I would strongly advise against a line of credit if you spend more than make.

The 17th amendment pretty much destroyed state sovereignty. With senators being elected by a statewide popular vote, state government has no say in anything for the most part. Both houses now are elected to go to DC and look out for DC 1st, and then act like they are doing something by getting more federal dollars to come back to the state they represent. Originally congress was the representative of the people of the state, and senators were the representatives of the state itself. States no longer have a voice in the process
