I think growing up in a sex negative society can do it. You're a teen, your horny and girls are too conditioned not to be the sexual beings they are (much like I was) to let you have what you want. That grows into sex negativity and misogyny.

But for the majority, many are just sex negative and contributing to an unhealthy culture of sex negativity.
