It shows the level of leverage in the market. I used to trade Bitcoin with also 50x and I learned my lesson the hard way burning money on exchanges. After many years I learned the only formula I believe is worth doing. DCA with 2p2 trades on dex then everything on a cold storage with encryption and geographically dispersed 🔥

Another topic for my “stocks first, Bitcoin later” experiment. 📈
This time: psychedelic therapies, neuroscience and biotech. 🧠
Talk about the companies, the science and the future.
Share the research. Let curiosity do the work. Maybe next time they ask:
So… what about Bitcoin?” 🟠
No orange-pilling. Just opening the door.

The noise keeps changing.
A few years ago it was: “This new shitcoin will make you rich in 2 hours.” 💩🪙
Now it’s: “This new AI app will change your life and make you money.” 🤖💰
You watch a 30-second reel on any sick platforms then you Download the app. Spend time figuring out what it can do. Then you see the price tag…
And realize it probably isn’t worth your time. 😂
But the real cost is something else: your attention, your time, your day. ⏳
There will always be another shiny thing demanding your attention.
Stay calm. Stay humble. Keep laser eyes. 🟠👁️
For me, the boring strategy remains the important one:
DCA #Bitcoin → cold storage → encrypted, geographically separated seed backups → your own node. 🔐🌍
No hype. No magic app. No chasing the next thing.
Just time, discipline, Bitcoin and of course creat notes and send zaps on Nostr🟠⚡

Condemnation vs Examination
Something I notice every day: people often don’t take even a few minutes to properly examine what someone is saying.
They hear an opinion → react to it → condemn it.
No questions.
No research.
No attempt to understand the other side.
It happens with everything — religion, politics, science, technology.
And with Bitcoin and Nostr, it can be even worse.
People can spend zero hours studying the protocols, then immediately say:
Bitcoin is a scam.”
“Nostr is useless.”
“It’s all speculation.”
Maybe you’ll still disagree after doing the research.
That’s completely fine.
But there’s a huge difference between disagreeing after examination and condemning something you never examined.
Curiosity before judgment.
Examination before condemnation.
That’s how I try to approach everything. 🟣⚡

Recently I discovered something interesting.
If you want to educate a family member or a good friend who is still skeptical about Bitcoin — and therefore probably skeptical about Nostr — maybe starting with Bitcoin isn’t always the best way. Sometimes the conversation needs a different door.
Start with old-fashioned Wall Street talk. 📈
Stocks. Companies. New technologies. Robotics. Humanoids. The bottlenecks these industries are trying to solve. Then, somewhere in the conversation, you casually mention:
Bitcoin is another one of the things I’m interested in.
Suddenly the conversation is different. They already understand investing. They understand technology. They understand that the future is being built by companies solving real problems.
So why not use that curiosity to introduce them to Bitcoin?
And maybe, eventually, Nostr
For this reason I’ve been researching a list of interesting companies from the 🇺🇸 US and 🇪🇺 EU working on innovative technologies.
I’m curious to see their reaction.
Maybe we’ll have some fun… and maybe, without forcing anything, they’ll start asking the right questions about Bitcoin.
Sometimes education is not about pushing harder.
Sometimes you just need to find the right door. 🧡⚡

☀️ One of my daily Nostr habits:
Wake up → find one of the most active posts from the last 24h → comment.
And when you comment, just be yourself. No engagement farming. No pretending.
Then check the profile 👀 See who they follow. If you find people with 1,000+ followers who genuinely interest you, give them a follow.
Then write 2 notes of your own — interesting, personal and genuinely you.
Do this every day.
Nostr is full of incredible people from all over the world 🌍
For me, this is the only digital place where I can hit Follow without an algorithm deciding what relationship I should have with another human.
Just being here already tells me something: you chose a different kind of digital world. 🟣
Keep showing up.
Soon you’ll build your own network, and your feed will become more interesting every day — full of incredible ideas, privacy tools, freedom tech and people actually building. ⚡🛠️
Thank you to all the developers and everyone contributing to this community.
PS Get help from any LLM to put together your note before you post it 😉

🇺🇸🇮🇹 Healthcare is more complicated than “USA bad, Italy good.”
The 🇺🇸 US can be brutally expensive without good insurance.
🇮🇹 Italy can provide excellent care with very low direct costs — especially in regions like Tuscany, where we have outstanding hospitals and surgeons. 🏥❤️
But the system has a price: regional inequality, bureaucracy, waste, corruption and staff shortages. And the SSN also provides care to millions of visitors and supports vulnerable immigrant populations, adding pressure to a system where many healthcare workers already work extremely hard for modest salaries.
The real challenge is making quality healthcare accessible, sustainable and fair — for patients, taxpayers and workers.

🟠 A little update from your Bitcoin Butcher 😱
.
This summer’s lake adventures in the USA took an unexpected turn. 🇺🇸🏕️
Unfortunately, I won’t be back at the shop as soon as I expected, so I’ll be away from the counter for a while. If you were planning a trip to Florence specifically to meet me, I’m sorry we’ll have to postpone that visit. 🇮🇹❤️
I’m not sure how much Bitcoin magic my colleagues at the shop have mastered yet 😅⚡ — so if you stop by, you might need to be patient with them!
But this doesn’t mean I’m disappearing.
I’m turning this into a kind of digital nomad phase from home 💻🏠, where I’ll have more time to be active here on Nostr.
Expect more:
🟠 Bitcoin education
🟣 Nostr experiments
⚡ Interesting facts
🧠 Deep dives
🌍 Ideas about freedom, technology and the circular economy
🔥Vibe coding
Sometimes life changes your plans.
So we adapt, keep building, and keep learning.
The Butcher is temporarily off the counter… but definitely not offline. 😎⚡
See you here on Nostr.

🟠 Bitcoin changes the way you think.
Once you understand difficulty adjustment, you stop chasing luck and start understanding incentives.
Even a teenager can figure it out.
A small Bitcoin miner like a Bitaxe suddenly makes more sense than buying lottery tickets. ⛏️⚡
One helps secure the world’s hardest money while giving you a chance to earn sats.
The other is designed to separate you from your money. 🎰❌
Bitcoin isn’t just teaching people about money.
It’s teaching probability, economics, game theory, and long-term thinking. 🧠📈
That’s the real orange pill. 🧡
