That is nice! Not sure on release date yet. I'm conservatively saying early 2026. I'm working on album art at the moment. Then I gotta come up with a marketing plan/release strategy.

Good morning nostr! It's been a while - hard for me to keep up in the summer. It's been crazy! But I made a record and it's GOOOOOD! I've https://blossom.primal.net/9d16b66cdcf1d16206f48f644d88b8c3157d06ec5f1047e668bf246e3251841c.jpg been playing music like a crazy person and working my tail off. Tell me about your summer... what's good with you?

This crew.... 💕 (Plus Shay and Joy and Meredith and Emily) Took my 10 little acoustic songs and turned them into BANGERS. And we had a pretty damn good time doing it. We're onto the mixing process and that much closer to seeing this record through 🥂

This girl is off to make a record. I'm here in Nashville.... Pleasant Shade technically... At @fredarecording about to crack open 10 new songs. I'd ask you to wish me luck, but I think we've got enough passion and talent on our side to bring out the best of these songs without it. We're gonna do good work today, and we're gonna have a great time doing it. **Deep breath**

I'm home from my first ever tour in the Pacific Northwest. Oregon, you're incredible. The people, the places, the thrifting—I shall be back someday. Next time I promise to take more pictures. 🫶
And now… we’re down to the final 24 hours of my album crowdfunding campaign. duh duh duhhhhhh
To the 116 incredible humans who’ve already backed this project: thank you. Your belief in these songs, in me, and in the magic of independent music means more than I can say. Especially right now, when everything feels a little uncertain—your support is a gift I’ll never take for granted.
If supporting the campaign isn’t in the cards right now, I totally get it. There are so many demands on our energy and resources these days, and your presence in my little musical world still means a ton.
The good news: this isn’t an all-or-nothing campaign—whatever we raise will go toward making this album happen. So no matter what, there’s new music coming your way this year. One way or another, it’s happening.
Let’s bring it home.

I launched a Crowdfunding campaign for a new record today. I'm making my second full-length EP in May! 😬😬😬 I've been at this whole music thing for a lllllong time now, and I've learned so much and had so many wonderful experiences I wouldn't have had if I made different life choices. If I hadn't chosen a life where I'm constantly on the edge of my comfort zone, where everything feels a little (or a lot) risky, where I found MY PEOPLE. This record is the next step, and it's a big one. I can't do it by myself- as much as my stubborn self would like to - will you join me in making this record a reality?

I want to say thank you to the 296 people who have listened to my new EP (at least that's what WavLake data is showing me!) I realize what a privilege it is that I have chosen to make music for a living (a meager living, but still!) and the most important thing is that my music finds the people who need it and enjoy it. Thank you for giving these songs somewhere to thrive. 🙏

Good morning NOSTR!
I am here on behalf of 3 fellow musicians who are trying to do this damn thing. Three artists who are crowdfunding their next (or in one case FIRST) album. The traditional social media platforms are burying their posts in the algorithm. So i’m here to share these campaigns with you. THere are a lot of things you can spend your money on these days, but if you like music, and you want people to keep making it, this is how that happens. Take a look at these, choose a reward that tickles your fancy, and help make independent music happen.

Hey #nostrpeeps.... I was on tour for the last 10 days. I gallivanted through the redwoods and put my toes in the frigid waters of the pacific. I played 9 shows in 10 days, made new friends, got a couple new song ideas, and now it's back to reality. Let's just take a moment to enjoy this Big Sur sunset for a little longer

It brings me so much joy - and now it's available on all streaming platforms - including #Wavlake! The lovely Meredith Bullock illustrated this lyric video for it and I don't think I could love it any more.

AMEN! I'm a musician who has played music for ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, etc. People spend way too much money on weddings and they want things to go *exactly* right and they never do. You don't need to spend that much money to have a good time.nIf I ever tie the knot, my budget is going mostly towards a rad band (because all my friends are musicians) and good food - which I want hot dogs, baked beans and corn on the cob. We'll go to Costco and Trader Joe's for booze and we'll dance the night away. 👌

2024-05-25 04:34:23 UTC

I haven’t been making much content lately. Mostly I’ve been working up new songs, and getting ready for rehearsals with my band for summer shows. Hopefully I’ll have some band vids to share with y’all soon. In the meantime, here’s a cover of Friday I’m in Love by The Cure. When I was getting ready to release my latest single, I was in a MOOD… This was originally for Patreon members only, but you guys are cool and I hope you like it.
