My father beat me as a lifestyle. Just as often, he terrorized me psychologically. I had to become a fellow grown man before I could confront him about it without retaliation of another beating.
For decades, I gave my mother a pass. But as she edges closer towards losing her memory, as the elderly do, I finally asked her why she always cowered while I was beaten. Why was she never the mama bear that takes a stand between her little cub and the mean Grizzly?
I'm heartbroken to admit she cannot cope with reconciling her cowardice. Even though she herself was never beaten, her fear for her own well being was stronger than her love for her child. She now has the audacity to insist she was never in the room all the times when it happened, and washes her hands of any culpability. I can't believe the enormity of her denial.
I don't know the clinical name of the mental condition to accurately describe them, but I know if they were reacting to this post about Family Is Everything, they'd give it a big thumbs up and infer onto everyone that they are very different than what I know them to be.
And so I wonder, is this OP virtue-signaling his values as an internal war with the other half of some Split Personality disorder? Is this public message really just a private matter between Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde?

The problem with people telling you to "move on" is the consequence of liberating them of their unatoned transgressions.
The reason a court does not "move on" or advise the victim's family to do so is so not to embolden the guilty to repeat their crimes with impunity.
If telling someone they're only hurting themselves when they keep their assailants' sins on the table, why not the assailant advance the same "let it go" advice to their victim, even ahead of the next intended injury, since it's only a matter of time before that future offense will be in the timeline's past also, right?

Then you took a turn. You shared a bit of your own childhood struggles, raised by a mother suffering psychiatric issues. I personally knew an asshole that eventually confessed the same childhood nightmares himself. He had my sympathy after that, as have you after your admission.

My kid recently got his Driver license, but the application he has to sign has a clause that has him also agreeing to imposed military enlistment.
The DMV employee didn't notice he "lined out" that clause of the contract before submitting the contract for processing.
We made sure to get our own copy of the signed form so we can show he's not obligated to get on the conscription bus when they come for all the young men.

The military draft is not without consent.
When my son got his Driver license from our State's DMV, the application's terms has a clause granting consent for conscription.
He lined out that fine print before signing it and they accepted/processed the altered contract.
We have our copy of that final agreement in case they some day tell him he has to get on the bus for Iran, or Syria, or elsewhere.

There should be a reality TV show that keeps dispatching two teams to survive the wilderness with only their wits. Always an all-men team vs an all-women team.
A third neutral party exists for the purpose of pressing both teams so nobody has a peaceful campout in the woods.

I was a 25 year old doorman at the Axis & Radius nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was where the rich and famous people went. Sammy Sossa, Mike Tyson, George Cloney, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Kid Rock, Jackson Browne, et cetera.

But still, I thought me not being for sale would become a priceless reputation for my future.
Nobody cared. Not then. Not later. All those rich and famous people that knew me then; not one ever told me they could use such a trustworthy person in their lives, surrounded by so many fake, smiling, opportunists.
Now, when I see a wealthy man pontificate from his social media megaphone about how much he values people that can't be bought, all I hear is another Pretender speaking about nobility no different than the grandstanding politician.

My understanding is "immigrants" come to America by legal, welcoming process. They are expected to be fellow contributors, and they usually are.
But "migrants" smuggle themselves and their children into the country. They cheat immigrants waiting their turn in line. Migrants add strain to our hospitals, schools, housing, and other welfare programs meant only for our impoverished taxpayers.

Only Federal citizenship can be taken away. You aren't born into it. You "naturalize" yourself into it when you sign under perjury that you identify as a US citizen.
You are born into Union state Citizenship, and nobody can take that away (lawfully).
By the way, whereas Union state Citizens have the 9th Amendment of innumerable Rights beyond the pursuit of happiness, Federal citizens have obligations...like paying the income tax, for example.
Someone would only want to have their optional Federal citizenship revoked. But Union state Citizenship is all benefits without the innumerable statutory obligations.

In our revered Declaration of Independence, written by thee great Thomas Jefferson, he refers to those, alien to our country, as "merciless Indian savages".
I agree; don't tread on me. But the formation of our states was our assertion we have our own people with our own heritage, culture, and way of life.
When drafting the Constitution, we drafted a contract that we will allow a Federal govt to exist in addition to the sovereign states (they called it general govt back then), if they perform their contracted duties which includes casting out the invaders and insurgents.
That's not boot licking. That's the (Constitutional) contract all states knowingly, voluntarily, intentionally entered into.

America used to only have a Sheriff. His job is to help manage those of us that are "domiciled" Citizens of our Union state. Not "residents".
After the 14th Amendment created a 2nd citizenship...a Federal citizenship, better known by its euphemism "a US citizen", then POLICy Enforcement (POLICE) was introduced to manage "that" citizenship group.
USA Citizens are still protected by the Constitution.
SCOTUS ruled that U.S. citizens "may" be extended the same Bill of Rights, but that's on a case by case basis. It's not the same guarantee the Constitution gives its Union state Citizens.

A Federal citizen is a 14th Amendment citizen.
In the hallmark court case of what's come to be known as the Slaughterhouse Trials, the presiding Chief Justice ruled 14th Amendment citizens are NOT guaranteed the Constitution's Bill of Rights. That's only for Citizens among the 50 states. Look it up!
In case you got lost, remember how this started. A US citizen is NOT a Citizen to any of the Union states. A U.S. citizen is "domiciled" in the District of Columbia, regardless of which state they are "residing" in.
Yes; America has two citizenships. Union state vs Federal. And if you don't know which you are, the govt presumes you are a Federal citizen.

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 gives Congress permission to create their own inner government from within their Columbia territory, and so they have after America lost its Civil War.
We have BOTH a Republic of the 50 states and a statutory democracy in D.C. Two classes of citizenship.
The same way govt extends protection over Americans even when you are out beyond USA's borders, their statutes apply to "residents" beyond D.C.'s 10 square miles.
All you have to do is identify as a U.S. citizen (Federal citizen) instead of a Citizen of your Union state. Just like that, you've naturalized yourself as a subject of their democracy instead of a freeman of our Republic.
As for me, I am a "domiciled" Arizonan. I am NOT contracted as a resident to the STATE OF ARIZONA CORPORATION. I am not a 14th Amendment Federal citizen. That inferior citizenship is for descendants of emancipated slaves and other paupers.

It's time for your patriotic self to learn the difference between the original state Citizenship of the 50 states
versus
the 14th Amendment Federal citizenship, known better by the euphemism "U.S. citizenship".
Both are legitimately American, but you can't be both at the same time. SCOTUS case law says you are either one or the other.
One of these guarantees you your Bill of Rights.
The other does not (says the SCOTUS slaughter house trials' opine).
And our govt-controlled public schooling keeps everyone ignorant to believe there's only ever been one type of American Citizenship.

If you enter a contract with someone else I am not a party to, then that agreement does not involve me. Whatever guarantees it describes are not extended to me. It wasn't crafted for me.
When the Framers deliberated over the final draft of the Constitution, they were Americans hashing it out for Americans. Not for people of other countries.
The 2nd Amendment protects the right to bear arms. But that doesn't mean if the Chinese Army invades our 50 states that we cannot in good conscience attempt to disram them. Our Rights were not made for invaders.
Whether someone charged our shores from their Navy vessel or they smuggled their child across the border, they're both invaders for entering our country without consent. They're both here for our resources by any means possible.

ICE Agent #1 sees Protester has a gun under his shirt.
ICE Agent #2 takes Protestor's gun away for their safety during takedown struggle.
ICE Agent #1 looks again and sees Protestor's holster is now empty and believes the resisting Protester has drawn his gun out, so he shoots belligerent Protester first.

I am Matthew Kuraja.
I am not MATTHEW KURAJA.
I wrote the IRS an affidavit making this distinction clear, because they insist they only write their letters to MATTHEW KURAJA. Never to Matthew Kuraja, despite my insistence they address me by my name as I assert it to be.
I told them I now (finally) understand that I, the natural man, never consensually contracted with them a taxation owed. But the legal fiction (they created) does owe them (because maxim of law - that which one creates , one controls). I am not the Trustee of that all-caps entity. If anything, I am only the Beneficiary.
The IRS acknowledged my letter, telling me they'll respond to my formal taxpayer dispute within 60 days if they dispute anything at all.
In law, to not dispute an assertion within the agreed time window is known as establishimg tacit agreement. Meaning, all parties agree there is no dispute, even if consensus was not explicitly given.
Think about how court is conducted. If one party says something wrong, the other party must immediately speak out "Objection!". To not do so is to implicitly agree. There can be no objection then at a later time.
That 60 day window expired nearly a year ago. The IRS will not volunteer a receipt of proof I am free because they don't want that to trend in social media, but my account is now discreetly tagged in their database as a lawful non-taxpayer.
In an old, landmark court ruling the govt never teaches us happened, the judge said " if you do not know and assert your rights, then they cease to exist".
Those of us that do demonstrate we understand are allowed to live free. But so many fools that must still be managed as wards of the State cannot be made aware of this revelation. Else, with ignorance, they'll protest to be treated the same. That's why courts quietly dismiss trials with sovereigns than let trial complete to their outcome "for the record". There can be no official record of such liberating trials for plausible deniability when reckoning with the knuckle-dragging ignorant protestors.

It's not an either/or.
The USA is a Republic. However, the Constitution allows the Congress to create another inner govt within Washington DC. That 2nd, nested govt is a democracy.
That nested govt is a corporation by the name UNITED STATES. So, we have the USA and the US.
