GM Nostrverse. Anyone else pseudo jetlagged by the change to natural time? I hate it when they do that. It's one of the most stupid ideas I've ever heard.

2026-10-24 17:18:05 UTC

I'm experimenting with coding with AI, but it seems to burn to credits awfully quick. Those who use it a lot, how much do you spend on it and would a local AI machine make financial sense?

Shell2php was fun. 7 customers and our full hosting infrastructure patched or mitigated. I'm calling it a day.

2026-10-19 10:15:04 UTC

You post a lot of interesting things, have you looked at vibes of cosmos? If so, what do you think about them? @npub1qqv…cn3w

2026-10-12 15:49:38 UTC

keynesianism: the believe that you can fill a tub by scooping water from the left side into the right side while spilling half of it on the ground, but dumber.

2026-10-10 09:18:28 UTC

@npub1wht…r3ec how do push notifications on your app work? Google or websocket? Will we get UP support?

2026-10-10 09:13:53 UTC

Hi @npub1wht…r3ec and friends. Any groups I can join to give this a spin?

2026-10-10 09:12:40 UTC

GM nostrverse ☕

2026-10-06 13:27:16 UTC

Let's see if Ditto posting works again

2026-10-06 07:41:44 UTC

Posting errors on #Ditto today, strange...

2026-10-04 07:15:58 UTC

GM, Sunday means... Running our infrastructure updates, monitoring progress on my phone's terminal. Life in IT.

2026-10-03 12:36:50 UTC

Day 1 of cutting my coffee intake from 3 to 2 cups (espresso). If you never hear from me again, I didn't make it.

2026-10-03 07:21:30 UTC

GM friends. Time for coffee and the it's patching customer systems day

2026-09-30 12:32:54 UTC

I'd really like a (preferably new) Astroid OS watch to compare it to my #Pebble. The #Pebble has been one of my favorite gadgets so far.

2026-09-30 12:27:34 UTC

Any nice not to big @npub1wht…r3ec groups to join? Open Source or anarchist/libertarianism? Want to test the app a bit and between me and myself on another phone is not that interesting

2026-09-20 12:26:59 UTC

Back on nostr with my own relay 😅

2026-06-22 10:21:15 UTC

Can I run @nprofile…z2n3 ditto web using another relay (software)?

I strongly disagree and that reasoning is dangerous. Politicians are not clueless and innocent. They are highly dangerous psychopaths. They are not dumb, they are evil.

In Belgium you may have to. We have unrealized capital gains taxes. But not losses. So if your bitcoin were up 31/12 you pay on those hypothetical profit even if you sell them later at a loss.

I think @keychat had a better nostr based solution but @SimpleX remains my best bet overall. But fully agree with centralization making Signal a liability

This was mind blowing. I discovered it about a decade ago.
I had cancer over 30 years ago and I've come to the conclusion that it was entirely avoidable and that my so called treatment was more harmful then the disease.

Moral of the story, don't put your data in things you don't control and you don't actually own devices locked into cloud crap

I am a bitcoiner. Though I don't travel to El Salvador. I think lightening is a bad solution and an unnecessary admission that Bitcoin doesn't scale.

Besides draining battery I have this weird issue where the bell icon doesn't always show my recent notifications. They come back for a while when a new one appears.

Belgium already has these, businesses can't accept large cash payments and if you're caught anywhere carrying over 10k, you are arrested and the money is confiscated.

It's not even factory farming, don't drink UHT milk. It's toxic. I get raw milk from a local farm where the cows are mostly outside.

2025-11-03 07:52:04 UTC

- reply

There is a huge difference in home made vs factory made. The later should be avoided (not only for this).
But it remains that like fruit juice, there are problems consuming more soy then you could by eating the plant. More so for men then for women (women with disrupted female hormones benefit from it, while men should avoid it)
My whole argument applies to boiled UHT milk as well.

2025-11-02 09:00:58 UTC

- reply

It may not be normal to drink milk as an adult. It's far less natural to process plants (except coconuts), often chemically, the add more chemicals to achieve the ultimate goal of resembling actual milk.

Belgium is exactly like that. You can put cups next to the machine but it had to say prohibited for consumption without boiling....

The thing is she may be right for centralized messengers. Any decentralized messenger can scale out without hyperscalers. Currently my top pick is @nprofile…jglt

2025-08-24 07:59:54 UTC

Very happy moving as much away from @nprofile…mtrc to @nprofile…jglt as possible now the battery issues have been fixed (beta still). I love the no SIM card requirement but more so, decentralized servers (I run my own). Try it if you haven't already
