For centuries man could consume wheat flour in moderation because they grew it themselves in variety and stone ground it themselves. Bit when industrial processes arrived over a hundred years ago, the factory presses began to come down on the wheat with such pressure that it squeezed out the minerals - inc magnesium.
This made flour unstable - looking desperately to rebind with magnesium. The next time it finds it is when it comes into contact with the water-soluable magnesium in your body. It rapidly binds with it - instantly making you magnesium deficient. You need magnesium for over 200 functions in your body - inc to keep your heart beating and your brain healthy. So your body turn to slow extraction from long term storage: your teeth and bones - leaving you with a failing skeletal structure and teeth that start going translucent at the edge and increasingly sensitive until extraction is required.
Stay off the bread and any food that has had flour added. Eat kale for magnesium

Easy on the pool. Chlorine damages human hormones. Choose the sea, natural springs ala Florida, a clean river or prob best not to bother.
An easy huristic without going for tests to pick up on the fact the pool chlorine has messed you or the kids up is the ease with which you develop an upset stomach or pick up the next cold/flu that goes around.

Is a wiser path to be a Christian without associating with a 5013c that takes bribes from the Nation State by means of grants and thereby gets corrupted?

Hmmm. A lovely liquid alkaloid neurotoxin just like nicotine that's used defensively by plants in nature to attack the nervous system of insects wanting to feed on them.
