The Jev demo porn on Twitter is severe. Astra is so old now. I am still refactoring with Astra. I am so out fashioned.

Vibe haters are threatened and afraid of losing values. I come to realize that skills easily threatened by AI may just be not that impressive anyway.
I am so happy that I don’t have to hand type CSS or html by hand anymore because these things are waste of time anyway. Most of programming is just pure labor work.
In the meantime, there are still many daily challenges that even Fable / Astra can’t solve for me in programming. AI free programmers time to solve more important problems.

Sometimes I wish that I have a private jet so that I don’t go through the bullshit tricks of airline companies. Cheap airlines so be illegal. Because they always trick you so that you end up paying more, with no choices.

Am I weird or something? I always prefer to write articles and track them with git. It gives me a powerful yet maybe useless feeling of ownership over my articles.
But publishing blogs in a git repo isn’t the best way to distribute it.
That’s why substack and social media exist
Even 3 years ago, several Nostr developers were experimenting with artificial writing clients over Nostr. I think it’s worth doing, again.
The key here is that we need to distinguish the authoring tool, the distribution platform and the storage platform.
A local folder based, git tracked markdown writing tool will be great for authoring.
Actually, the this tool simply works on file systems and git, we don’t even need a GUI tool. Users can just user Obsidian or whatever, as long as it produces text files.
It could just be a cli. The user doesn’t even need to learn the cli. Just ask the AI agent to do the cli calling.
On top of that, this tool should be able to publish to Nostr, publish to self hosted serverless website and even other platforms that support APIs.
The backup and storage should still be off distribution platforms and separately managed by git hosting systems.

This is an Open Source video editor written in Rust. It’s my long-time dream of implementing a usable video editor that’s cross platform. Now this dream comes true. Just 3 weeks into the project and it’s already editing my videos.
3.5 years ago, I started my 1st ever project and luckily it’s a Nostr project. Looking back, I was a naive developer LOL. Can’t believe how much I’ve grown as a developer over the years.

GPT5.6 freed me from spending most of my time writing control flows to designing data structures. It enables fearless refactors.
Design the data structure and control flows naturally flow out of the AI.
I’m using Rust by the way. Rust is even better in AI coding because it’s type system is so strong that many logics can be baked into the data structures.
20k lines of code on 10 days. That’s speed that I never feel before. I’m taking about ++40k and —20k

After half year of using Nostr, I have received close to 200K sats. I also zap other people. Still 125K remaining. Who should I zap next?
This amount of money has been realistically meaningful because it's roughly 2-3 days of meals in many western countries. In some Asian coutries, it could be 7 days of meals. Not to mention poorer regions of the world.
And I only havce 300 followers. Just imagine what could be possible when millions of people start to use Nostr. It's the network of values.

- reply

I will work with you if you start to migrate.
Let's me explain more. Correct me if I'm wrong @nprofile…m77w @nprofile…zn3z
NDK tries to be a per NIP domain based client library that provide out of the box support for different kinds of NIPs.
Meaning it's higher than nostr-tools, which is a minimal protocol implementation and lower than client applications.
nostr.ts on the other hand, is more like nostr-tools with a connection pool and newer/better JS primitives.
The NIP domain, as a nostr.ts user, should be implement separately in their application code.
So it's not an apple to apple comparison between NDK and nostr.ts
Of course, I'm stilling deciding if more of Blowater's helper functions should live in nostr.ts. I don't want nostr.ts to be too opinionated about how a NIP should be implemented or even which NIP should be supported by default beyond the basic protocol level.
