She has never once looked inward nor taken responsibility for her cruelty. Affection without accountability is corrosion. What was once family is now only history. Jeff Booth once said fiat ventures hurt #Bitcoin — that building outside the protocol reinforces the very system Bitcoin was meant to replace. Now he’s running a fiat-structured VC fund, gatekeeping access to plebs, and backing companies through legacy rails. Turns out “fix the money, fix the world” stops at the accredited investor line.

I found it interesting that FOX chose to display BTC, ETH, and then LTC. Litecoin, like Bitcoin, is proof-of-work, decentralized, and has a limited supply. However, it lacks that final layer of trustlessness—unlike Bitcoin, it didn't have an immaculate conception. It was founded by Charlie Lee, a known figure, which inherently introduces a degree of central origin.

I'm not suggesting this—only noting that Tether purchased an amount and made their address public. Tether does issue USDT into circulation, and if there is no evidence of reserves, it could raise similar concerns. However, this post is not about that.

I would recommend that the U.S. and other nations fast-forward the narrative toward figuring out how to transition from fiat to Bitcoin with as little friction as possible. Perhaps by cleverly and carefully crossfading the interplay between fiat-based financial systems and the Bitcoin network this could happen.
...unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world.

The #Bitcoin protocol is intentionally structured to begin as a high-growth asset, shift into a store of value, and ultimately serve as a global digital currency. It must first prove its security through a trustless system. This transition is supported by its issuance curve and other key indicators like hashrate and mining difficulty. When it's ready, it will replace fiat. It’s a path built into its code. The stages need to play out. We will not force it. It will force us.

I believe Tether's vision is exceptionally broad as well, not just getting their fingers into tomorrows decentralised media pie but reaching into areas like brain-computer interfacing and other fields once thought to be pure science fiction. Technology is on the brink of an exponential leap. This tectonic shift is also a game of musical chairs—those with foresight will be the ones rewarded.

🟠 Kentucky enacts protections for self-custody and removes taxes on crypto payments.
🟠 North Carolina introduces a bill to allocate 5% of state funds into Bitcoin.
🟠 BlackRock launches its first Bitcoin ETF in Europe.
🟠 GameStop plans to raise U.S. $1.3 billion to buy Bitcoin.
🟠 Strategy unlocks $711 million via STRF share sale to acquire more Bitcoin.
🟠 French firm The Blockchain Group purchases 580 Bitcoin for €47.3 million.
🟠 Trump’s Crypto Czar David Sacks meets with the UAE to discuss Bitcoin.
🟠 Metaplanet aims to acquire 21,000 Bitcoin by 2026.

What’s happening here is the quiet beginning of a self-custodied #Bitcoin hedge. The clever part is claiming it costs him nothing—this lets him discreetly DCA into a position while maintaining plausible deniability, thanks to Bitcoin’s pseudonymous nature. It’s a way of admitting Bitcoin has a future without actually having to admit Bitcoin has a future. And can you believe that he is also going to stack Solana. Wow!

Over time, like companies and organizations in general, systems that are updated incrementally can become mismanaged to the point of failure. It’s now clear that behind the ‘song and dance’ lies a severe buildup of inefficiency and ‘dead wood’ staff.
As for the exploitation of the quantitative easing/tightening mechanism, the ‘magic button’ has always been there in the fiat-based financial system—and human nature ensures it gets pressed too often.
When Elon is done with the U.S. government, he could swing by Ethereum to rework that overcomplicated pile of tacked-on code.
Then again, why bother? Like fiat, it’s dishonest at its core.
