Just so we can better debug the issue, do you have Google Play services enabled on GrapheneOS?

We'll look into this. We're currently finalizing the NWC integration and preparing to move it out of experimental. As part of our testing, we'll make sure to check compatibility with devices that don't use Google services.

People keep asking when the full power of Blitz mobile is coming to the web.
You won’t have to ask much longer.
3 days. ⚡

2026-09-24 15:02:19 UTC

Blitz offers more than a single wallet. Pools, Gifts, Accounts, and Savings goals each hold Bitcoin in their own place. That raises a fair question: how do you reach all of it without the Blitz app?
Today we’re releasing a rebuilt Blitz Recover.
Fully open source and built for the case where Blitz goes offline.
It uses the Spark network, so it is not a unilateral exit tool.

Blitz Web is getting a full makeover.
Every device. One browser tab.
Soon. ⚡

The goal is simple: Bitcoin that works without needing to understand it.
Usability is the strategy. ⚡️

Teaching your kid about money?
Give them a Managed Account.
They earn it. Spend it. Watch it grow.
Real Bitcoin. No risk of a lost seed phrase.
A modern allowance. ⚡️

Connecting apps with @nprofile…gs3w just got cleaner.
Dedicated NWC sub-account with its own Lightning address.
We also rebuilt the connection string UI.
See the new flow below ⚡️

We haven’t touched the web app in a while.
Maybe we should change that ⚡️

2026-09-10 15:05:20 UTC

We didn’t just ship Managed Accounts.
Every sub-account in Blitz now gets its own Lightning address.
Business. Personal. Savings. NWC for your connected apps.

No. The gradual path was eCash → Liquid → LN, not on-chain unfortunately.

It depends. If they used Blitz within the last eight months and before Boltz stopped providing services, their Liquid funds should have been automatically swapped to Spark.
If not, then yes, we'll need to wait and see if all the funds are returned to Liquid.
At this point, they would also need to restore their Blitz wallet in a Liquid-compatible wallet, such as Blockstream Green, to recover the funds, since Boltz swaps are no longer available.

2026-09-08 15:03:25 UTC

Yesterday we introduced Managed Accounts. Here's, how to set one up:
1. Open Blitz → Accounts → Create Managed
2. Name it. Your kid, your mom, whatever.
3. You hold the keys. They just send, spend, and receive.
4. Share access. They're live instantly.
Onboarding, simplified. ⚡

For full transparency, our recovery site is only if Blitz goes down, it doesn’t support the unilateral exit yet.
We do however automatically sync Spark leafs in the app which is fully compatible with blinks recovery tool for full offline unilateral support.

Onboarding someone to Bitcoin has always meant the same thing: "Write down these 12 words. Don't lose them. Don't screenshot them. If they're gone, your money's gone."
Today we're removing that step. Introducing Managed Accounts.
Here's how it works: someone who already uses Bitcoin sets up an account for the person being onboarded. That account is theirs to spend, send, and receive with from day one. No backup to manage. Nothing to lose.
What makes it new: the account is derived from the setup person's existing wallet, tied to a seed they already hold. If the new user loses their phone, the person who set them up restores everything. Nothing is lost.
To be clear: Blitz never holds the funds or the keys. We can't. We never could. The only recovery path runs through the person who set up the account: a parent, a friend, a business owner, someone real.
Decentralized custody.
The hardest part of Bitcoin onboarding has never been the technology. It's been asking people to take on the responsibility of self-custody before they understand what they're holding. Managed Accounts let someone grow into that responsibility, with a real person as their safety net.

For years, getting someone into Bitcoin meant the same wall: write down 12 words, don't lose them, good luck.
Tomorrow, that wall comes down.
Set an alarm. ⚡

2026-09-05 18:49:37 UTC

2 days.
For the one who always gets asked about Bitcoin: you're about to do more than explain it. ⚡

2026-09-04 15:00:16 UTC

Every circle has one.
The person who actually gets Bitcoin. The one everyone asks, everyone trusts, everyone waits on.
What if they could do more than just explain it?

2026-09-03 15:00:02 UTC

We all have that family member or friend who tried Bitcoin, lost the seed phrase, and never came back.
That wasn't their fault.
And soon there will be another way. ⚡

2026-09-02 15:03:47 UTC

Bitcoin was never the hard part.
Handing it to someone was.
In 6 days, that changes.
Who are you finally going to set up?

Blitz gives you several receive options: contacts, paylinks, pools, LNURL, and custom invoices.
Contacts: we see the sender and receiver pubkeys. All other metadata is encrypted with an ECDH key exchange (similar to Nostr NIP-04). All messages are deleted after 14 days.
Paylinks: amount, creator, and description.
Pools: creator, goal amount, number of contributors, and individual contributions (amount + who).
LNURL: amounts and who.
Custom invoices generated in the app: nothing on our side.
Also worth noting: every Blitz wallet uses Spark privacy mode by default, so Bitcoin balances and transactions are not publicly viewable on any Spark explorer. ⚡️
