How do I trigger a @nprofile…gsu4 update notification? It should auto-update, right?
Instead, I had to search for "Zapstore" on zapstore, and only then did it show that the update is available.

People will riot, protest, and take to the streets in millions. They will destroy property they'll later have to pay for. They will risk imprisonment, or even their lives. But they will NOT stop using fiat. They will not stop playing the game that is rigged from before they were born.
It's quite insane.

Do you use cli or some GUI tool?

There are profiles you just love browsing, but they post so often that they literally oversaturate your feed. Every other post just gets burried. Can I have them in a follow list without them appearing in my main feed?
#asknostr

2026-10-06 08:03:06 UTC

I am seeing more "post" boxes from various vendors all over Europe. And yet, I don't think it's possible to use them anonymously.
Instead of giving the seller my full name and an address, why can't I give them just the box location. In turn I get thr unique number to pick the package, et voila!
The mechanism is already there, but it still requires handing over the data first.
Is there an option I am missing? #asknostr

Cast iron literally lasts multiple generations. It's a bit more painful to clean it and maintain it, which is why I prefer SS for every day use. If I had access to open fire more often, I'd probably the cast iron more.

Don't know who needs to hear this but you DON'T need a "non-stick" pan! Don't poison yourself and your loved ones.
Invest in a quality cookware. Stainless steel is non-stick if you know how to use it properly. Temperature is the key.
It's also virtually impossible to destroy. Clean it however you want. That's a power horse that will last you (almost) forever.

No other map ever truly replaced Google Maps because it simply didn't have the richness of business/places information. People don't use maps simply for navigation. They use them to figure out where to go, what to see, what to do, where to eat, drink, etc.
This is phenomenal!

One thing that has kept me sceptical and reluctant to commit (pun intended) to running my projects on nostr is the "decay" of old commits due to relays losing them. IIUC, you solved this problem by letting git be git, as the article suggests? But sometimes even equally important is the meta information stored in PRs, comments, etc. How do you personally make sure all that is preserved, and what do you suggest others do? Is it a good idea to run one's own relay for backup?
