#Brazil elections
I don't vote anymore at Italian elections of any kind, but I decided to vote (from Italy) at Brazil presidential elections.
Votei no Flavio Bolsonaro. Eu gostei do pai dele e espero que o filho seja ainda melhor.
Two things.
1. Even if he wins the run-off, Lula has no chance to pass his laws in Parliament. Bolsonaristas and allied parties have a strong 49-32 majority in the Senate, a majority that Jair Bolsonaro never had.
2. If they get to 54 votes through agreements with the "Centrão" senators, the next Senate can start to impeach omnipotent STF judges and that can definitely change the course of the country.

Actually it is not free in Italy since it is payed through taxes and inflation. Then it is cheaper, I agree.
But other than life-threatening diseases, most surgeries and urgent care, service is quite poor, since you need to pay in order to have diagnostics or doctor opinions without waiting months.

Interesting.... Here in Italy we have "panino col salame", where slices of salame are put inside a panino (literally small piece of bread), sandwich style but with good bread. Maybe you could try to make a much smaller bread and eat a real panino...
PS Real salame has garlic inside

Joe, Italy is the country where 2 years ago the deputy minister of finance publicly said this:
LITERALLY
"I have an important news regarding bitcoin capital gains: as the phenomenon spreads, we expect a withholding tax increase from 26% to 42%"
You know, if it spreads we have to stop it.
Then they raised the tax only to 33%, but who cares, this is what we have to deal with here.
Listen, you are now fluent in Italian... 😉

NO AI CLIMATIZZATORI!

The beheading of Saint John the Baptist.
Well worth the visit.
Painted in 1608, just two years before his death.
Unseen before in an altarpiece. No hope, just a man, his death, his killers.
