The ideologies were created and reinforced by people who created them in a time before bitcoin and many of our emergent behaviours cannot see the zero sum nature of these ideologies.
Assuming bitcoin stays decentralized and secure, those beliefs crumble to a new higher truth.
The risk you’re pointing to is that the ideologies become our identity and we hold onto them making our version of truth the right one and the other version the wrong one - all within the same system we have always know. (My first post that you responded to). If that held, (I don’t believe it will over long term) then bitcoin would become centralized and fail because we would be measuring it from within our old paradigms.

IMHO Bitcoin is fine. Just the free market learning what works and what doesn’t which will drive more resilience. A small battle (which feels like everything to some) in the long war for sound money. Lots going on in background with many Bitcoiners who also view bitcoin as money unconvinced that this was the right path (or time)

Thanks Jason! Slow growth companies get punished in the market and sell for lower valuations. The act of creating an acquisition vehicle and bringing top talent and AI (which a small company can’t attract) sets the stage for a re- rating of value. Multiples expand because of the acquisition vehicle because it IS the growth engine. Imagine the flywheel created and greater understanding of Bitcoin when the founders equity in Orange Juice is worth multiple times what they thought they were selling the business for.

Craziest day in Tuscany. After an awesome day exploring wineries and small towns, we stopped in for dinner in Monteriggioni, not knowing that the opening night of the Festival of the Sun was here. Just saw Rick Rubin, ran into Jack Dorsey, and a surprise concert is about to start.

Doubt it - becomes too intertwined and is a part of default inflationary system.
Investors, government, bonds, stock market, etc etc.
Payments is the way they “might” get their cake and eat it too - but how many people will spend it versus getting interest.
Incentives matter.

Like gold - if you build derivative games on top of bitcoin (inflationary money) and people use it, and try to get higher interest rates in it to keep up with prices going up, many people will choose that (they need the income to support prices unnaturally rising and it “seems” like a safe bet. That centralizes bitcoin and the store of value ceases to be a good store of value because the rules change (Like gold)
Fortunately, this is protocol and the nodes matter. When that day arrives- and it surely will if this continues, there will be a fork and the coin that has the leverage on top of it versus the one being used in the economy will likely fail (as will all claims on top of it. (like bcash)
Just the long and winding road we must go through to for bitcoin to move us from a zero sum game to an infinite game.

I find it ironic that the of return that underlies the treasury model business requires Bitcoin to be a currency and that their own businesses impair that outcome.
If they want to get away with the dangerous game they’re playing, I would suggest they start investing in the spend your bitcoin (not stablecoin) narrative and ecosystem very quickly.
