This article hits hard. We’ve normalized being surveilled. Then we turned around and started surveilling each other.
Nostr flips the script. No tracking. No middlemen. No surveillance. Just you, your keys, and your connections on your terms.

@nprofile…g8xl, check out the Shopstr BTCPay plugin. It solves the "sovereign but invisible" problem by broadcasting your inventory to Nostr for global reach. The Blockstream store is be a perfect fit for this.

We are living through a historical anomaly. Decades of technological development are being compressed into single weeks. This "flash flood" of information can drown even the most experienced professionals in a cycle of panic and redundancy. This read offers a psychological exit from the noise. By shifting your perspective to see your brain as soil rather than a sponge, you can ensure new information actually takes root. Discover four simple filters that transform the daily downpour into deep, fertile growth.

Match your Nostr BTCPay plugin relays with your Shopstr relay config, that'll fix it. Your listings are published but propagating to different relays than where Shopstr is looking. Align them and you're set.

⚡️ Shopstr Markets Plugin Update ⚡️
This plugin connects your BTCPay POS directly to the Nostr network to unlock global, permissionless reach.
Why use it?
1.) No Gatekeepers: Broadcast listings globally without KYC or legacy bans.
2.) Social Trust: Signal quality to buyers by leveraging your Nostr Web of Trust.
3.) Sovereign Data: Your listings are portable and censorship-resistant on Nostr.
⚠️ Safety Note: This is experimental software. To isolate risk, do not use your main Nostr identity. Create a fresh profile specifically for your store.
Try it out and drop your feedback.

The key to grasping new tech is to try understanding how to apply them practically. For example, Frostr's a game-changer for teams and businesses using Nostr. With Frostr, one can create new sets of keys (multisigs) determining the permissions and functions each key can do which eliminates the need to share their secret key with the entire team. If one share is compromised, you can easily invalidate it and create a new one, keeping your secret safe.
But that's not all! Frostr also enables trustless arbitration. Imagine a Nostr Business team, handling disputes. No single person can act alone, ensuring that decisions are secure and trustworthy. Each member uses their key share to vote on a decision. Once a threshold is met, the final decision is a cryptographic command that authorizes the release of funds from escrow. Try it out, and you'll see! https://frostr.org/apps

Hi @nprofile…20f0, I’ve been thinking of turning your book into an audiobook to listen on the go and tried it out with the intro.
If you’re into it, we could do the whole thing and post it as an album on @nprofile…jy0c. That way, people can listen and zap chapters, which could help fund a print version faster.
Let me know what you think of the intro and if you’re interested.
