I've been thinking about how cool it would be to do something similar, but deeper with bitcoin. You could have the purchase of the game seed the game economy with real money and/or fund your characters starting purse. Then, you can withdraw whatever sats your character earns in the world.

I'm also not really holding it against anyone who promoted Coldcard.
I am, however, heartened by how many people I've seen doing some soul searching about having promoted that company and I applaud them for holding themselves accountable.

It's also not like data centers were consuming the water in such a way that it disappeared from the Earth.
Unless I'm totally wrong and they were just evaporatively cooling everything, the water was still in the system for someone else to use later.
