My life is in on my phone. It's that simple. I'm sure it's monitored, but at least it's not being stolen. I am technical but I don't take the time to look into alternate application sites closely. If when first seeing them I knew how they accepted and approved applications, it would help, yes.

Tuesday. Today I had no pain. Have we moved past that to what is next? I don't know. I suppose I can still feel a bit in my shoulder blade area when I move it around, but the under rib pain in front and back was not present today. Shifting occurred. More Perfect Union is really well done reporting most of the time. You may see propaganda, but I think you misunderstand the word propaganda. Propaganda is what Bessent, Trump, Hegseth, and Lutnick say - words without relation to the truth because the words are what they want you to hear. They might be the truth, but that's not why they said them. For example, they WANT inflation, you know that, I know that, but they say exactly the opposite. They WANT chaos, to widen the Overton Window, but they won't ever say that. They want less people - of all colors - but they won't say that.

I almost didn't write this.
Yesterday was our anniversary dinner. I had been hurting most of the day. It was also a Day 1 [but today was not Day 2]. Yet, dinner and the rest of the evening were excellent. My wife honestly looked prettier than the day we met, and we both had a great time. It was a relief it went so well.
The pain still ranges from my forearm through my arm and shoulder to under the ribs in front or back. When one area hurts...It gets the lotions. Then the pain moves after a while.
I dropped my wife off at the airport this morning. [5:30 am isn't really morning yet in my book]. So, I filled up her car, bought some groceries, and ordered and picked up a surprise TV for the back porch.

Another Friday. 9/11. 25 years since we really began surrendering our freedoms and finances to the elites. I think more see that every day. One can hope.
Today was hard. It was easily the hardest physical day in a long time. What's that mean? Well, the shoulder pain went to under ribs all day. At the same time, the shifting...shifted. I've had some more days where morning much was changing. Just slight variations in pain locations, reactive to lotions, not also perhaps responsive as they would ebb?
I have not weighed every night but tonight I did. 167.1, another new local high. So, the gradient continues to change, storing fluid. I'll be ordering some more roomy undies, as I know my frame can hold more fluid.
I've come to the conclusion we're the bad guys in world affairs. A sad state for a democracy to be in. Six days since my last update? Losing Oscar is an adjustment. Our other dog, Auggie, has known Oscar almost his whole life. He is certainly affected, too.
I've been in a stable pattern and read several books. Work and personal commitments have also been active. I Karaoke'd until after midnight on the weekend, and had Old Man Band on Tuesday. We got T-shirts a few weeks ago (courtesy of my sister). "Old Man Band" logo on the front and big group photo on the back. The next goal is to ask all make it on the same night AND remember to wear our shirt for a group photo. That probably makes it de facto uniform for a while.
Symptoms? I had several days of less burning in the right side shoulder area and arm. Then, this morning, the arm was burning moderately and the right shoulder blade, so I put the lotion combo on. Over the day, the pain migrated to just underneath the back right lower rib area.
My son will be in town this weekend and fantasy football season, again. Draft weekend plus Sooners opener on Friday night with a family blow up TV out next to the pool for the first time. The pain is either in my back or in my arm during the day. So far, night has been pain free.
Work has been busy.

The weekend trip to Mom's went well. It started with a shift but I didn't experience any severe symptoms. Nothing beats 8 hours with your college age kid trapped in the car. Mom's new place is great for her. We delivered the last of her things.
Tuesday, I made it out to a couple stores at lunch. Work was fine. I'm reading another lit-rpg series in my free time. I'm an obsessive reader when I'm reading a book I enjoy. I originally started reading them in 2022, after this stage started. I believe limiting movement is beneficial. The book also takes your mind off what you are feeling and going through.
The Substack version of my latest article went out yesterday. I only have 288 subscribers but it's the future readers that matter. Anyone aware of me today is freakishly ahead of the curve.
Over the last week or two, I've noticed that if my arm or shoulder burns and hurts and I put my tri-combo of antifungals on, I get a cold feeling on that side. I think it's what triggered the upper quadrant pains last week. Today it also felt a bit like when I took CBD (noted in Redacted Science the novel and papers). I haven't made a journal entry in six days.
My weight has fluctuated. I don't seem to be retaining as much fluid but it's not perfectly clear.
Output has increased, but I can also tell I'm dehydrated. The only way I know is that my mouth has a slight burning sensation and my lips burn as well, but neither is dry. Oral pH is neutral.
Today is Friday. Wednesday, I experienced upper abdominal tension in the afternoon and evening. Then, Thursday, was doing light work and felt something in my upper body like I pulled something but I couldn't tell what or where. Today, I've had many sensations. For a while, it felt like I had been punched near my spleen. Then, the other side hurt.
Something has changed. The burning started in my mouth more than a week ago, but it's grown. The lips burn too, as if they had something spicy on them. It's not overly painful, not certainly noticeable.
Meanwhile, I worked a lot this week. I went for a new filter cartridge for the pool. It seems to have helped. Today, I took my dog to the vet for surgery. He's doing great.

I purposely avoided weighing myself for a couple days. Today's weight: 166.9, new local high. I have been drinking too much fluid. How much you ask? Maybe 40oz a day, no more. Too much, nonetheless. I've felt good, but the trend continues. I will adjust, it does seem to be something I can affect, to some degree. Food still passes, though that's shifted to a dryer state.
It's the weekend. I finished what may be my final Primal Hunter novel (Jake's me in a fantasy life), and moved on to try something new. My son is back at his place. We have tentative plans to go see Mom next weekend.
Last year, I carried (in my pocket) instructions for first responders, urgent/ER care, and the pathologist. That's the degree of daily existentiality I endured. I've not carried those papers for months. The day is coming again when I will, I think.
I really wish I had time to learn agentic development and build Knowzy. I really think it is a way that GenZ could build their savings while participating in a whole new kind of social media. But, I don't have that kind of time. A four-day gap. Why? Several reasons - Last month, I decided to begin taking a few more days of PTO. I knew the change in routine would prove to be hard on me. So, I scheduled time for birthdays. My household has all of its birthdays during the summer. I scheduled several days off, including a four-day weekend, so that I could be available to see my son for his birthday. He was home all weekend and those days, and it was great. He is 20 years old now. After dinner, I told him, he's a man now. He said, "I'm not a teenager any more." I replied, "No, you're just a man walking around." He said it was weird. Time goes very quickly.
But, that was only partially the reason for my gap in updates. After that pain I reported, the next day I had an intense cramping in my lower abdomen. It didn't last long and was relieved in the way you might expect, but it was a shift. Since then, my weight has dropped from 165 to 162.9 and 162.1 last night. I now have upper abdominal tension, not like the deep lower cramps. It has already started for today. Wednesday. A day in the office. Mostly meetings. It's hard to get significant development done in an hour knowing you have a hard stop.
Mom left town tonight. Her house will be on the market, soon. Speaking of markets, these months will be momentous there and elsewhere.
Meanwhile, I hit 164.7 tonight. The 33" slacks were too tight, this morning. I'm still restricting fluids but I think we can all do the mass balance, here. The men in the Article literally stopped drinking. I'm probably at about 24-30oz a day and retaining 4-8 of that. The abdomen has some uncomfortability. Perhaps I go lighter tomorrow.
I've been putting both antifungal lotions on parts of both arms. The left is sensitive on the forearm (the bony area above the elbow).
Same weak legs and burning in the thighs on walking very far, but it's not enough to stop me from getting around.

It's been five days since my afternoon update. Where we last left off, the AC was not yet resolved and the roof was not yet finished.
The AC turned out to be a poor construction decision by the original home builder, Executive Homes, a rather big builder of nice homes in Oklahoma. The refrigerant line was run along the underside of the roofing. A nail from the roofing company easily penetrated it. Oops, huh, guys? No one to blame that on but the inspectors, builders, and subcontractors.
Anyway, AC is working. I had a busy week. Then helped at my mom's over the weekend including today. Saturday was karaoke night. We managed to squeeze in The Odyssey on Sunday. It is entertaining.
It was not really a day off even though I took PTO. Tonight was dinner out at a new place for a special occasion.
I've also been reading The Old Man's War series. It's pretty good. I enjoyed the foreword on the first book, too.
Symptoms? Yes. I'm addition to the ever present leg issues with burning and muscle weakness, I've had some burning in my right arm, more superficially - also, maybe 20% of that much in the left arm. I've had dull and sharp pains under the right shoulder blade. Weight has fluctuated 160.1-163.5.
But, five days means I've been managing well.

It's basically designed to hold up most of the time. The rest of the time, by definition, it won't.
It's not even 80/20, just determining the simplest path. If you have sound logic, you'll find the simplest path anyway, but why would you accept that by default? It also assumes you know all the paths in order to be able to determine which one is right. Biology is a great example of where it fails because we only know some biology, not all biology. What we don't understand is quite significant and out of scope.

Well, this week is proving to be memorable. That's what life is about, ya know? They started putting the roof on the house on Monday. Tuesday, it was 104° in my yard, and they were telling me they didn't think they'd get finished because they can't be in the asphalt shingles without damaging during the hottest part of the day. So they took a siesta and started again at 7pm for over two hours. It's not a great working environment, but someone has to be here. [So far]
Tuesday morning I was a bit chilled and put on a long sleeve shirt. But, by noon I was warm and feeling a bit hot. Not a symptom. I checked the AC, it was already two degrees above the set point. Not good. [The forecast here next week is a week of high temps over 100° F].

Saturday. Friday involved a day at the office and dinner out. Today was a lazy day, and a Day 1.
I was listening to a Bitcoin podcast and the guest was explaining how the longest amount of our evolution was in a group of less than 150, and if you were the type of person that went against the grain, you self-selected out of the gene pool. So we genetically preferred people that went along with the crowd. Thus, the bitcoiner mindset is a rare mindset. The other people will always be followers and need to see broad acceptance before joining in.
I think that's true, but, moreover, I think it perfectly illustrates part of Paper B and how a social structure approaching religion must have existed for Homo candidus to evolve through the transition periods of weakness between the stages involved in their life journey.

I worked from the office today. Nothing different on the symptoms front.
The researcher I've been corresponding with has been very helpful.
I've had a lot to do..no..I have a lot to do at work, moreso than at most times in my career.
I was the first staff member in the "Medical Informatics Group" before it later became the only university department headquartered in Tulsa for OU. We started small. I was "The Guy." One guy writing apps across departments using a made up asp framework that viewed systems relationally via metadata. The screens were built by the meta data which could be captured by the same screens. Object table was first, then column. Then the ParentObject table. Then you've got the DropdownList table and the ValidationRule table, and more. Once the underlying system was built, creating a new one inside it was cake. Same code that's already bulletproof, just have to get the meta data right and the initial load is pulled from system tables, and it could infer relationships based on naming standards.
So yeah, I was the coder, the database architect, the etl guy, and the DBA. Now I still do all that stuff (and support that cool 23 year-old application that never breaks] plus manage the team of four or five more. That's how the Redacted Science Initiative is funded - the job.
I was going to share something I wrote on Facebook, recently, but that seems like a good place to end.

Skipping a day or two or more is one way I find Normal. If I have to post about this every day, it is a daily reminder that I sometimes just don't want. You get used to the pains and other issues, but every time I put words down about what it's like going through it, I actually have to take a step back and observe the entire process and admit that I'm facing a lot more than just these symptoms.
I worked from the office, today.
Weight is 164. My right arm is still different. The pains in it are in the bicep when used. Nothing nearly as bad as during the Fungal Associated Transient Myositis of a couple years ago. It's just a slight pain and weakness.

When I went to bed, last night, I had a hard time getting to sleep. It was 2:30 am before I got to sleep.
Today, I picked up donuts and then took a nap while family came over and enjoyed the pool. My legs were pretty sore, this morning. In the evening, we went to a nearby Reasor's (local grocery store chain) with a patio and grill to watch a couple of the guys from my Old Man Band night perform with their band. It was hot outside. I honestly did not drink a lot today considering the heat, but my weight was 164lbs when I took my shower.
So, yes, output has dropped off, but I also moved away from protein and had sugars and salts, today.
I haven't felt thirsty lately, even when restricting fluids, but I do feel thirsty, now.

Friday. Another payday. I took the day off work. It was not a day off, however.
I got up and was at Mom's house by 8 am to help clean out the shed. She's a porcelain artist and inherited a lot of unpainted porcelain from my grandmother. There is a lot.. Everywhere. We lasted about 90 minutes. It's hot in July. But that was a lot of trips back and forth from the shed to the driveway where the temporary dumpster is located.
Then, I came home and trimmed the bushes around the front of the house. There are boxwoods, holly, and some huge type of bush in the side that was encroaching the neighbor's property. Meanwhile, I had laundry running. Then I ate lunch, followed by a Zoom call with my son to go over the AI project I've given him for the summer (paid internship from Dad).
Later, I brushed the pool and cleaned the pool cartridge filter. Then it was a trip to the grocery store to pickup dinner items.
After dinner, we had company for about half an hour. I socialized.
Now, I'm icing my legs. It feels good. The muscles of the upper thigh are hurting today. That's lower than the other pain from lifting. This pain is more constant, aching and burning. Nothing that would stop me, but the icepack feels pretty good.
I'm down to 160.5 lbs, today. I'm going to allow myself a little more fluid and see how it goes. That rate of decline has been significant. It might be the wrong thing to do, honestly. 20260709 #RedactedScience Evening Update
Two straight days in the office accomplished. I brought my lunch so that I didn't have to walk to my car and back. The first day was harder. I got depressed about things. It's a week where I have to bump out my scheduled emails. Going through them is always a bit hard on me. On some of them, I cross out the previous date I forwarded it from and put the latest date. That string of dates is an artifact of its own. Today was easier. I was the only one on the hallway working from the office. I'm fine with quiet.
I've controlled my fluid intake more and lost a pound or two. Today, I've had some abdominal discomfort. It's hard to describe..a general internal tightness. My legs have also ached this afternoon and into the evening. They hurt right at the point that is weak - the top front of the thigh just below the hip. That's the part that I am assisting when I grab the front of my knee and pull back and lift to cross my legs or get into a car or bed. If I don't grab my knee, it hurts because I'm really straining to lift the leg without the added assistance.
I have received a third correspondence from one researcher and a first from another. That's something. I also see articles come out that I want to include in my papers, but I'm preferring to just relax when I can. I'm keeping track of them, though.
Tomorrow, I'm taking off work. Originally, it was just a day off for no reason other than a little bigger gap between work weeks, but I'll be helping Mom empty some things from her shed in the morning.

Another day of movements on which my weight went up. 165.1 lbs. Another four days. They were stable, unusually so after having my arm act up. I can't point to anything specific other than a 2 lb fluctuation down then up. I'm at 162.7 today. I was under 161 yesterday. Today was also a Day 1.
I worked this week. I even went into the office on Wednesday. My wife got me a roller bag so I wouldn't have to carry my laptop bag and lunch. It was my idea, and I'm glad I thought of it. Going up the ramp at work was difficult. Obviously, I passed on the stairs. I got a lot done, this week.
Today, we had a house full of family for another day at the pool. My sister and mom are also in town. Tomorrow, I'll be shooting off fireworks in front of the house with them. It's a pretty big event, locally. I don't bother going to the big fireworks shows because I enjoy the neighborhood fireworks.

I did not think it had been four days since my last update. I will endeavor to do better as things are always changing.
I had a nice weekend. It was actually an improvement in the derivative. We made it to dinner and karaoke on Saturday where I had an Old Fashioned. It was an early birthday dinner date with my wife since we will have all three kids on my birthday, next week.
The arm has become less of an issue. Instead, my weight is again at 162 lbs, and that's after a day full of movements, which I wanted to be sure and record. I've also had brief localized pains that felt like they were just inside my abdominal wall. They have only occurred this afternoon and only about three times, all in different places. Odd enough to note. I can also feel an increase in tightness in my shorts - both my legs and waistband. As always, this can only be fluid and electrolytes. My skinny jeans that have been loose were too tight for comfort that's legs and waist, as well.
So what's going on? I can't know for certain, but if I were to guess I would say that the bladder as a filter is failing. Fluid is being retained and distributed into the available interstitial spaces. My skin is tighter both in my abdomen and my legs. 162 is the highest I've been in a long time, certainly more than a year maybe two or more. Well, things are continuing to change. This is not a stable period. The forearm was hurting today. I iced it and used creams. My right knee is a bit loose. I say that after noticing it for several days in a row. This evening, I have a tightness in the middle of my abdomen, formication on my near my ears and forehead, and a tightness of the skin on my neck that seems to have loosened up some after my evening shower, now that I think about it.
I worked pretty hard today. In fact, it is after 9pm, and I am also running an ETL process.
Oh, and another bad day in the markets, my one bright spot being $ATAI [I know, that investment may seem like support for institutional pharma, but it is the fringe companies that will benefit from the Framework.
I need to get a video recorded, and I have plans to get a cleaned-up version of Redacted Science posted digitally. We'll see how that goes.

20260624 #RedactedScience Afternoon Update
I did not post yesterday. It was a day of changes. Last week, after icing my legs and then taking a hot bath, things changed. I have slowly gone from localized to more of a generalized pain. My arms are certainly affected most noticeably with the legs next. Reviewing my log will provide more. But. I also have localized pain. Maybe this will help - at the top of my legs, where last week it burned, today, when I sneeze while sitting the jerking of the tendons in that area causes bilateral pain. Yet, when I stand, there is no pain from my hips - and I've certainly had prior periods of significant hip pains. The progression utilizes every substrate eventually, yet you can live a Normal life [not a normal one, but you can push through losing something that simply doesn't "work like that" in modern medicine].
I did get to go to Old Man Band, last night.
Today, we got a couple inches of rain, and the ceiling started leaking right in front of my desk. Why does bitcoin have to be down at 200 wk avg when I need a new roof?
Oh, and I had mentioned there was a possible job-related issue in July. It was a definite issue but July was a month away at the time. However, now it is more relevant. I will have to work at the office most of the week. That is a significant issue for me. I cannot do 8 hours of observed Normal. I can't even tell you why because it changes day to day, but I know it will be a problem.
While today is not existential [and many certainly have been], this period of time is becoming more so. That's just how it goes. Bitcoin and commodities hit hard as well.

Monday, I worked. I had to ice the arm during the morning. The pain is no longer just the bicep muscle. But, this evening I'm realizing it's circadian, with a rhythm similar to other circadian pain swings I've encountered during this progression. In this case, the pain lessens into the evening. It also feels a bit like I'm melting, losing structural integrity architecturally. I've actually had that cycle before, as well. Pretty interesting, huh? Never the same state but repeating similar states...
Anyway, we went out to dinner. Stopped by Target on the way home... no eggs... Wtf? Aldi had them.
I'm still reading Primal Hunter, and I scheduled a summary of Implications of Recognizing Candida albicans as a Biochemical Computer for tomorrow morning on jimcraddock.substack.com
Overall, things are existential but not in this moment. So, we'll see what's next.
