Yea think I have to finally pull the plug. Just a huge pain in the ass. Have my mortgage, credit card and car leases setup to pay out from there.
At least I earned over 10m sats in rewards from them over the years

It’s ridiculous for a “bitcoin” company to require users to hold a fiat balance in order to earn rewards. They have continued to make it harder and harder to earn rewards through fold and I think this is going to be the final straw for me.
If anything I would say the “reserve” balance should be bitcoin and not fiat if they really cared about driving Bitcoin adoption and helping bitcoiners

2026-10-02 00:46:23 UTC

Anyone a fold app user on here?
These changes announced today are absolutely ridiculous. Requiring you to hold fiat in a “reserve” account to earn bonus rewards on the credit card or rewards for bill pay.
Pretty pathetic move as a “Bitcoin” company

We are on the same team as monero but they refuse to get their heads out of their asses. Also they are huge hypocrites and liars when they claim they do not care about NGU

2026-09-09 18:06:43 UTC

Are my assumptions wrong? Are you not religious?
You seem to hate women and I can bet you hate the gays also
It is typically the religious zealots that whine about what other people do and how they act.

2026-09-09 17:25:43 UTC

- reply

Sure I was influenced. We are all influenced by things.
That doesn’t mean the people that influenced me are inherently evil and are to blame. Maybe they were deceived as well? I personally do not blame others for mistakes I made. I trusted people and learned a lesson.
I still think shitcoiners like you are worse than “toxic maxis”
You claiming the toxic maxi culture is the reason it happened is pathetic behavior and you are trying to capitalize on a horrible event. Says more about you than it does about the “toxic maxi culture”

2026-09-09 17:00:09 UTC

“Toxic maxi ideology” 🤣 …I lost money in the cold card hack and I do not blame the toxic maxis. I blame myself.
This term was minted by vitalik who is a piece of shit scammer. Ethereum is the biggest grift out there and has delayed bitcoin adoption for years.
People that complain about toxic maxis are shitcoiners who need to sell your their shitcoin

Monero is the only one with a legitimate use case.
Every other one, especially zcash are scams intended to enrich the people who created the coin

2026-09-09 13:13:55 UTC

- reply

You explained a convoluted tool that obfuscates all these nonsense shitcoin transactions just so you can use a gift card at a merchant. Would just be better off going to bitrefill 🤣
Again nobody in the real world wants to go through all of this nonsense.
With bitcoin you can just go to a square merchant in your town and pay through your self custodial lightning wallet (@nprofile…yh6g is pretty good), a custodial wallet or Cash App
This is comparing apples to oranges.
Again we are not in the same ballgame and I am very close to muting you so I do not need to waste anymore time reading your shitcoinery

2026-09-09 12:58:20 UTC

Again these are not real conversations. You are a joke and I do not know why anybody takes you seriously.
You are a shitcoiner through and through. Also a brokie who is single and can’t find a partner
Do not know why I waste my time engaging with you
Just like your shitcoins we are not in the same ballgame. Once you have a house, a family to support and a real life maybe you will understand

2026-09-09 12:29:45 UTC

- reply

Really? You can go to regal or chipotle and spend zcash directly on their payment terminal?

2026-09-09 12:15:28 UTC

- reply

As much as you shitcoiners like to throw out these bullshit charts and whine that bitcoin is not money you are ignoring reality. These sites mean nothing. Regular people are not going to go through a ton of hoops to buy gift cards (really the only thing you can buy shitcoins with) to then spend on things in real life.
Can you go to your coffee shop and spend monero or zcash or eth through their payment terminal? Is anyone working on payment terminals for shitcoins? Oh that’s right, no…
Meanwhile I can go to many square merchants all over America and spend bitcoin or go to places like Lugano or Madeira and spend bitcoin at real life places.
It’s not fair debating with shitcoiners because you guys move goalposts and are not even in the same ballgame. Bitcoiners are trying to defeat fiat…you shitcoiners are out there doing who knows what
