A "cold wallet" is cold and not "hot" for spending.
If you reached out to spend from a cold wallet it means you emptied all the other "cache wallets". Really bad situation.
That means an income problem, not a spending problem...
I will always remind you my recommended method using the "3 levels stash:
1- hold/cold/vault, only deposit
2- cache, on multiple wallets, management
3- spending, small amounts, daily use cases

2026-10-26 19:13:08 UTC

- reply

OK let me explain some basic things and later you dig up more yourself.
1 - You run now your own Lightning.Pub - great. That's the way it should be, is a simple LND node in neutrino mode on your home PC. Running in a private mode, no Tor needed, no complex firewalls and router setup. Just open a bunch of private channels and done.
2 - This LN pub is linked to a Shockwallet that you can also run it on 2 modes: custodial with some bootstrapped node from Shock Network or linked with your own LN pub. Or both. And also is multiplatform and PWA. As you need / wish.
3 - you can use CLINK for noffers and ndebits. All over nostr, encrypted as it should be. This communication over nostr is done through shocknetwork nostr relays, but if you want you can run it through your own relays.
4 - Shockwallet it offers you a LN address too, but is hosted on their servers (@shockwallet.app) but also you can run your own ones if you like. But IMHO a hosted LN address is the best decoy if you run a private LN node.
It's all in the open and totally configurable.

2026-10-26 18:52:33 UTC

- reply

Is not about how it looks, as a nostr client.
Try to play around with zapping and receive zaps to your noffer paired with your Shockwallet / Lightning.pub
You can even set limits/budgets and have total control of your funds.
Read more about CLINK, is a very interesting concept over nostr.

Just because you bought a device from them and you received a phising email it doesn't necessarily means their customer data is leaked.
These attacks are named "phishing" for a reason... it means are sent massively to everybody and if you are dumb enough to click they catch you, like a fish.
I received one of these emails but I never bought anything or give my details to Foundation...

2026-10-26 07:06:39 UTC

- reply

THIS.
Foundation servers are NOT compromised and did nothing wrong. It is your email server and client that allow to receive these spoofed messages.
If you go to mxtoolbox.com and check foundation.xyz domain, you will see that is hosted on a Google server and have all the required SPF DMARC etc records well configured.
That means WHO received this email must check the header, not only the "from" field.
But yeah people on nostr love to be dramatic without knowing how emails works.

2026-10-26 06:56:38 UTC

- reply

I don't think is "compromised".
This is a regular pathetic phishing intent.
Look into the email header (not just at "from" field). You will see that originated server is NOT any authorized sender.
Anybody can do this pathetic phishing for any domain, putting any email address in the "from" field.
You email server and client mudt be configured to check and reject these fields based on SPF and DMARC records.
Guys, please do not spread false info if you fon't know how emails works.

2026-10-26 06:50:08 UTC

No. Wrong. Always you have to respond to these. these are intents of contracting with you.
