For years @npub1lqv…fx0r and I have had many fascinating conversations, often opened with the burning question, “What do you reckon?”
Those conversations now take the form of an @nprofile…cc2f show of the same name.
A show in which we’ll discuss history, intrigue, health, collapse, spirituality, the weird, and the unexplained.
Whatever stone we wish to turn over, we’ll turn, and examine its hidden underbelly, sometimes enlightening, sometimes gruesome.
So here it is…

Wen you arrange a UK specific Meshconomy box, what do you have in mind? Perhaps a selection of fine wood products?

Welcome to the Meshconomy Box!
A curated collection of handcrafted goods from small producers who share our values of quality, independence, and community. At @nprofile…hun7 , we’re kicking off this initiative to shine a spotlight on artisans and creators who pour their heart into what they make. Our first limited-edition box is a celebration of their craft, and we’re humbled to share it with you.
Only available in USA! 🇺🇸
Inside each sleek black shipping box, you’ll find:
Evie and Park Orange Pill Candle: An 8-ounce, hand-poured soy candle with a cotton wick, offering 70 hours of burn time and fresh picked orange aroma. This special Ungovernable Misfits exclusive edition glows in vibrant Bitcoin orange.
@nprofile…lge4 Coffee : Small-batch, hand-roasted whole coffee beans, packed with flavor and attention to detail by Otis himself.
Ungovernable Misfits Extras:
@nprofile…xm9e sticker packs
₿itcoin-orange confetti-style paper shreds, and a handwritten letter on thick black stationery—because we believe in that personal touch, the Meshconomy box isn’t being sent to a customer, but a friend.
🧐 Why are we doing this? The Meshtadel is building direct connections between you and the people who make exceptional things.
We’re featuring small producers like Evie & Park and Otis Bitmeyer- plebs who prioritize craftsmanship and community over mass production. By choosing their products, you’re not only receiving top-notch goods; you’re supporting creators who align with the ethos of freedom, sovereignty, and quality.
We cover shipping, so you’re paying only for the cost of these meticulously crafted items.
We’re starting small with just 8️⃣ boxes- limited, scarce. If you snag one, we’d love for you to share your experience on X, NOSTR, Telegram, and with friends and family. Post a review, snap a pic, or tell people you love about the candle’s glow or the coffee’s aroma.
Spread the word about these producers and help others discover their work. We want you to develop a relationship with Pleb Producers like Evie & Park or Otis Bitmeyer for more orders, who knows, Otis Bitmeyer Coffee could be part of your family’s monthly grocery budget or your next set of Christmas gifts could be gift bags filled with Evie & Park candles, wax melts, or fancy matches. This box isn’t a product purchase from a nameless corporate box store-it’s a step toward a stronger, more connected community of makers and supporters.
Grab a box, light the candle 🕯️ , brew the coffee ☕️ , and join us in the Meshconomy.

That’s interesting. I’ve noticed the same. A good portion of my #40hpw of listening is made up of my friends’ podcasts, with the rest being history, alternative history, religious, and agriculture content.
I don’t think we all get the 'feels' like we used to from socializing around Bitcoin and its adjacent themes, now that reality has set in for many of the Polyannists who claimed Bitcoin was more than a monetary tool. But people were addicted to the hopium, so they transferred their projections to NOSTR, yet alas, the same applies.
I’d like it if sometimes we never mentioned Bitcoin or NOSTR at all on our PMM show, but I understand many of the Meahtadelians are building on NOSTR and are heavily invested in the technology and I respect their work and vision. We’ll continue to cover what they’re working on and continue to support them, but physical PoW and IRL connections will always appeal more to me personally.
*my opinions here do not represent the Meshtadel or Ungovernable Misfits, this is my personal opinion, or as Mr. Crown would classify it as ‘A Misfit Rant’.

2025-03-04 19:16:38 UTC

- reply

Not both equally. What you boys are doing in the physical is astronomically more impactful than NOSTR reputation building.

2025-03-04 19:12:13 UTC

- reply

My recommendation is to do what we’ve been doing for how many years now, having personal conversations. You and I have built a relationship over the past 3 years through hours and hours of chatting. Can a NOSTR badge compare to what we’ve built?

2025-03-04 19:08:21 UTC

- reply

NOSTR hopium is becoming just as bad as Bitcoin hopium. Developing NOSTR reputations over fostering real world relationships makes relationship building unnecessarily complicated, a Rube-Goldberg relationship machine.

It was a mistake on @nprofile…hsdd ‘s part to put the Meshtadel in such simple terms, he will pay dearly for that on our next PMM recording 🤪
The Meshtadel’s communications are decentralized across many different messaging apps, here on nostr, our shows on @nprofile…zqfx , large meetups like @nprofile…t5fl , small ones like just a few of us getting together to help one of our members herd cattle, or our monthly scheduled calls or impromptu calls with one another.
