Never thought about this before, but of course prop making for stop motion is completely different - a regular prop usually only has to work for maybe a few weeks at most, but a stop motion feature film takes years to make & the props have to not only last that long, but remain EXACTLY the same in every near-microscopic detail, even as they're handled & messed with all day long... 😱
