ah that makes sense, thanks! I watched your talk years ago and it's quite impressive tech! My own ambition is doing editable procedural terrain again someday. (We did that as students under the name "Upvoid")

I had you on my mastodon timeline for quite I while but just realized your connection to RealtimeCSG.
How strong is it coupled to level editing and its own format? I'm working professionally on mesh booleans (and thus CSG), including benchmarking tons of approaches, see https://github.com/Open-Boolean-Benchmark/boolean-benchmark-runners)
Does RealtimeCSG have a mesh input/output interface and if yes, would it make sense for me to add it to our benchmark suite (if you're ok with that)

Jup.

yeah I had a similar experience in September when I started using Claude code (sonnet 4.5) in earnest. It's a new skill to cooperate properly but the result is quite a bit better than what I was previously writing myself (and I have high standards)

when I did this a few years ago I simply had to mprotect(2) to PROT_WRITE before and then back to PROT_EXEC after. Otherwise no issues on desktop linux.

I wonder if you can easily do a latex -> PDF -> embed into .docx pipeline. You know, as a form of malicious compliance.

that's a great idea! so the tags are basically "last-week", "week-before-that", and "before-previous-breach". so obv you need to force-push those as well, how would it work otherwise?

i just tag the old versions and keep them in the repo. "master"'s history is then revised as if the new secret was the secret all along. the tagged branches with the old versions are then kept around for record keeping.
