I like buses but they've gone shit
trying to arrange a Friday night in London using public transport and it's impossible because I'd have to leave to come home at 9:30pm - the buses in Northampton stop at twenty to midnight!!! Party poopers 😩
on top of that they now only run ONCE PER HOUR!
it costs £3 per journey no matter the distance (1 mile or all the way to bloody to Leicester -45 MILES) but there's wifi and the vehicles are brand new electric. fucking bonkers.
when I got here in 1995 the buses were 30 years old, ran every 20 minutes and we went into town for a quid. if you walked to the shops where routes converged you could catch a bus every 5 minutes.
no wonder there's so many horrible cars everywhere. havent done my gardening job for two weeks since without a car I'm looking at 4 hours travel time
make buses bus again!
