This guy is a socialist.
Socialists are fine with using physical violence to extract wealth from richer individuals to redistribute it to poorer individuals.
Hating socialists is a necessary, but not sufficient, sign of moral clarity.
Regarding slavery, I seem to remember that it involved physical coercion, as in, "if you don't want to do the work that you are assigned, we can make you suffer until you comply, or kill you trying". I don't reckon drivers are forced to do their job with violence, nor are threatened of violence if they want to quit.
On the other hand, "if you don't want to pay the taxes that we decide you have to pay, we can make you suffer until you comply, or kill you trying", is what happens kinda everywhere.
