Dude you know they replace these screens free of charge right? Had mine and the OH screens done while-u-wait in my local repair centre.
Love my 8 still going strong no battery issues and I use it regularly plugged in for hotspot at 100% which many suggest is terrible abuse of a li-ion, li-po battery.
Performance can be meh but I dont game and use all GOS features without much overhead impact.
Pixels aren't refined sure but they are utilitarian.
