We've been building spam-tolerant solutions into Armada and Ditto.
Spam-tolerant means that when spam gets into app views, we detect and collapse it on the client side.
Spam-resistant means it never goes over the network at all. Obviously spam-resistant is better, but it's harder to guarantee in all scenarios of a decentralized, censorship-resistant network. So we do both.
