My wife Kem💙 (npub1xca…eglk) was just granted "Indefinite Leave to Remain" (which is also known as "Permanent Residency") in the UK.
I lot of people think that getting married is somehow the end of it. But we have still had to apply for (and pay for) multiple visas since marriage, costing a small fortune.
ILR application costs another small fortune, but does bring to an end the recurring visa costs.
Next step: Citizenship.
It's a good day, though, for sure.
