The assumption here is that the plebs are not responsible for trusting their savings to a sidechain which is unregulated, and it is all someone else's fault. Remember: We are all responsible to whom, and to what degree, we extend trust. This is not the nanny state of regulated entities and consumer protection. Sorry. I know it sucks.
