Husband and I met in the early 90's while working for a large software firm in California. We were on same project for years. A young nursing assistant asked how we met, and her eyes lit up; "you guys give me hope!"
Our son (early 20's) said relationships don't come by easily nowadays -- dating app or nothing. I don't think our relationship came by easily, but it was slowly built by building together, at work, at life, and everything. Now he only has days left and I'm at a loss.
