TLDR there are eviction proceedings in process on the unit we booked through Airbnb. Found out our first day here. Eviction proceedings began before I ever made the reservation. I’m traveling for medical care and communicated that with the host before booking. Found out about the eviction right before I had to go to the hospital for hours of tests. Airbnb support is pretty much doing nothing to help resolve the situation and keeps asking me to work it out with the host.
