That seems more like a call for other non-compromised ChatMail clients than direct suggestion DeltaChat hasn't been compromised.
At the moment, I'm having difficulties finding evidence of compromise, but there seems to be no active statement against it either.
So for now replacement is actively on hold (instead of just procrastinating).
