I'd been planning for more than a year to get a front hydraulic post hole digger for my tractor for the purposes of installing fence and digging holes for trees.
I originally wanted a backhoe on my tractor, but after considering of the # of 3pt/PTO implements I use, I didn't want to take it on and off.
Because they're now within the same price ballpark, I'm instead considering getting a (chynese assembled) 1.2ton mini excavator with a Kubota engine instead. More versatile + I can loan it out.
