As I mentioned, I open my wallet pretty often so I don't have very much to synchronize, and things that use Monero keep me opening my wallet more and more often. Like, for example, Stasher News being launched will make me use my Monero wallet more than I would have in the past, which will mean less blocks to synchronize for the EDC spend wallet.
