That matches what I’ve seen so far. RAM definitely feels like the first limitation on this machine, not the CPU. I already managed to get LND and lightning.pub running on it, but I stopped there because I didn’t have enough sats to fund a channel and actually test Lightning properly. If I revisit the setup, keeping the chain on an external SSD sounds like the right way to do it.
