GEM have global generation in 2025 closer to 1.1 TWh. IEA have it at 2.1, though, and I'm willing to believe them, so I'll modify to 'just over 1/10th this amount of wind power'. Not sure what you mean by '100x this.'
Even the most optimistic model from IEA has total renewables (not just wind) building out far below a 22.5TWh increase by 2040.
