He actually had a decent article recently about some of the theoretical edge case attacks on alternatives and the importance of understanding them. Of course, it was posted with a snarky comment about how the DIY signing community is emotional. Just completely failed to audit himself amidst all the logical dunking apparently.
It's the condescending arrogance that I've always been afraid of. Guess my instincts were right. The biggest lesson for me is that we never should have listened. I've seen his type in my line of work and they get people killed. Safety critical environments are no place for arrogant people.
