MONEU blockchain.
A full guide for Windows and Linux
Nobody prints MONEU.
You mine it yourself.
MONEU is a Layer1 Proof of Work blockchain on SHA256 live on mainnet.
There will never be more than 30000000 MONEU.
The reward starts at 77 coins per block and halves every 194804 blocks. There is no tail emission.
Every wallet has its own noise file made from physical measurements on the owner's computer.
A transaction cannot be signed without a leaf from this file.
Even a private key recovered by a quantum computer is not enough to move the coins. Each leaf is bound to its transaction and can never be used twice.
Bitcoin ASICs cannot mine MONEU.
Ordinary GPUs and CPUs can.

WINDOWS
You need Windows 10 or 11 64-bit.
1 Download the Windows package from https://moneu.cc
2 Right-click the file and choose Extract All.
3 Open the MONEU-windows folder and double-click moneu.exe.
A window opens with a moneu prompt.
You type all commands in this window.
LINUX
Ready package from https://moneu.cc
tar xzf moneu-0.2.2-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
cd MONEU-linux
./moneu-test-noise
./moneud -daemon
With the package you type commands with ./moneu-cli in front.
Or build it yourself:
sudo apt-get install -y build-essential cmake libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-thread-dev libboost-program-options-dev libssl-dev nlohmann-json3-dev
git clone https://github.com/natusor/MONEU.git
cd MONEU
cmake -S . -B build -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build build -j$(nproc)
./build/src/moneu-test-noise
./build/src/moneud -daemon
Then you type commands with ./build/src/moneu-cli in front.
WAIT FOR SYNC
First the node downloads the whole blockchain.
Do not create a wallet and do not mine before it finishes.
getblockcount
While syncing the number grows fast by hundreds.
When it grows one block at a time the node is in sync.
CREATE YOUR WALLET
Use one password without spaces and the same password in all three commands.
createwallet your-password
makenoise your-password
walletunlock your-password
getnewaddress
The first line shows 24 words. Write them on paper and keep them safe.
The second line creates your noise file. It takes a few minutes. Do not close the window.
The last line shows your MONEU address.
MINE
On the processor. The number is how many threads to use.
startmining YOUR-ADDRESS 4
On a graphics card:
startmining YOUR-ADDRESS gpu
Check that mining runs:
getmininginfo
If "mining" is true and "hashespersec" is above zero you are mining.
A block goes to whoever finds it first so coins do not come every minute. When you find one the reward appears in your wallet. It can be spent after 50 more blocks.
getwalletinfo
getbalance YOUR-ADDRESS
Stop mining:
stopmining
Shut the node down:
stop
KEEP A COPY
Your wallet and noise file are in %APPDATA%\MONEU on Windows and in ~/.moneu on Linux. Keep a copy of this folder on a USB stick or a second drive.
