I’ve rolled out a Threat Feed update to improve alert speed. This is a backend update, so no changes you need to do. Also forums that take forever to approve posts is still out of my hands.
Instead of waiting for one full 30–45 minute cycle to finish before forums can be checked again, forums are now scheduled continuously and independently.
This means:
• More forum groups can be checked at the same time
• Slow forums no longer hold up unrelated sources
• Forums can be rechecked based on their own polling interval
• Some sources may now be checked several times per hour instead of waiting 30–45 minutes for another full cycle
• Shoutbox captures now run separately every 10 minutes
• Failed or slow sites no longer block the entire monitoring cycle
The point is simple: get new forum activity into the Threat Feed much faster, especially for high-value sources.
